There were other circumstances why I graded Nova 8B+. I think that V15 suits to this boulder more than V14. I always knew it is the hardest thing I’ve ever done but couldn’t really afford to grade it 8C since it was my first boulder in that grade and also FA. 😊 So Iam very happy that Will repeated Nova and gave an opinion about the grade 😌
Awesome video and congrats on Nova! I might've missed it in earlier videos but how does Adam's beta for the ending compare to yours in terms of difficulty? Or is it also a matter of not being able to do his beta because of height/wingspan? It looked quite reachy in his video at least. Hope to see the Terranova video later this year!
Thank you :) to the question, I am not able to compare the grades, cause of my height, but his beta looks even harder, as the pinch he is using for the cross under to the crack is terribly bad :D Firstly I was using it as an intermediate for my cross move but then I realized it would be easier to skip it and cross directly.
The whole Terranova is probably five move 8A into three move 8B into five move 8B then 7A to the top. Nova is 2 move 8B into 5move 8B then 7A to the top. So Terranova is much harder in terms of power endurance. Doing the last bit will be crazy for the fingers as it's only small crimps. :)
