    Doesnt that make the trumpet go further from the body with the extra receiver and then the mouthpiece?

      selpingos Nope. That’s what is adjustable. It still works the same as your regular Reciever.

    Has the vgr affected how the trumpet plays? Does the trumpet still feel the same?

      Armando Perez No issues. It added a little extra weight and stabilized my sound. You can get a smaller tapper that isn’t as heavy but this matches the taper of my current mouthpiece.
