Good morning sweet Amanda, love ditl vlogs. Thank you for the information on the pictures. Your cake looked good, know it tasted good. We have similar wrapping station, got mine off Amazon. You are so blessed to have your children. May you have a blessed day. Linda from south Arkansas. ❤❤😊
Thank you, Linda! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I have fun sharing a little bit more about me in these videos. The cake turned out great! I hope your week is fantastic! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi sweet Amanda, I enjoyed your video very much! I love seeing you cook and bake. The cake looked delicious! I need to sit down and watch your home tour, I promise I will sweetie. Until next time, you take care and hope to see you soon. 🎅🦌🎄✨️❤️
Thank you so much, Daphne! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. No worries about the home tour. We’re all busy people and time is precious. I appreciate any time you take to stop by. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead! 😊❤️❤️❤️
Dino nuggets ARE pretty cool, but did he also have his cool water bottle with lunch? 😂❤️ loved this day in a life video! ❤️ all your videos are great and inspiring! 🥰
Thank you! I always get nervous posting day in the life videos because I know they aren’t as popular but I love sharing more about myself with you all. Funnily enough, the water bottles only seem to matter to my kids when we’re out and about. They couldn’t care less about them at home. 😂 But if we forget it on our way to school, the sky starts falling! But that’s kids for you. 😊❤️
Amanda, I really enjoy this kind of video for the opportunity to get to know you a bit better. I also like seeing how you actually function in your beautifully decorated home. So it was fun to watch you bake a cake 🎂. Here's a funny story for you. Until 1972, there was a "Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow" contest and scholarship program open only to girls who planned to go to college to become elementary school teachers, nurses, or stay-at-home moms after college graduation. (The program ended when Title IX, forbidding gender discrimination in public schools, became law when I was a senior.) Anyway, I was the 1972 "Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow" for my high school 😊! It was based on a written test, not actual functioning in the kitchen, or I would never have won. Ever since, people have been teasing me that Betty Crocker will call any day to ask for her money back because I don't cook or bake AT ALL and never have! Anyway, I really liked this video. ❤❤❤❤Robin
I love that story, Robin! It’s crazy that it was decided by written test but I guess it would’ve been too difficult to do it any other way. I will admit that I aspire to do more baking than I actually do but this is the perfect time of year to make the attempt! Hope you have a great week ahead and thank you, Robin! 😊😊😊
The test covered many topics beyond cooking and baking, including meal planning, nutrition, shopping, budgeting, health, fashion, laundry, housecleaning, child development, parenting, sewing, needlecrafts, and probably some others I am forgetting. A big part of the test was a long essay question asking the respondent to describe her philosophy of child-rearing. I eventually got a Ph.D. in psychology and became a professor. I taught many courses, including child psychology. I would LOVE to get my hands on my Betty Crocker test so I could see how my 17-year-old naive self thought children should be raised 😵💫😵💫.
At 17 I probably didn’t have any ideas at all about how to raise kids. That’s a ton of topics too. I don’t know if I would be able to be knowledgeable enough on all those topics!
Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy today’s video and that you’re having a wonderful weekend! 😊❤️🎄
