Hello and happy Friday! I hope you enjoy my first video of 2025. I’m so ready for a more minimal and simple decor look to start of the new year. Wishing you and yours the very best in 2025. 😊 Enjoy!
Enjoyed the video, was sad to see Christmas go, but was ready to simplified my home. Hope that you had a good New Years Day, didn't make it to welcome it in. Your kitchen looks good, love the country touches . Hope you have a blessed night. Linda from south Arkansas.❤❤😊😊
The changeover from Christmas definitely brings a bittersweet feeling. We had a wonderful New Year’s and are looking forward to all the possibilities ahead! Thank you so much, Linda! Hope you have a great weekend! ❤️❤️
Hi Amanda, love the kitchen decor!! It looks so fresh and ready for a new beginning. Yes I think a lot of us like a little simpler look after Christmas. I love my Christmas decorations but your just ready for a fresh simple look! I love the greens, white and wood tones together. I love what you did with the chicken wire shelf and the corner of your counter. It's so pretty! Thank you sweetie and until next time take care.✨️❄️🩵
Thank you so much, Daphne. I agree with you. I think we all do crave that simpler look at the start of another year. I feel like I’ve gotten into a pattern where my decor slowly builds up through the seasons to end with a big Christmas look and that starts with something more minimal now. The cycle starts over! 😊 I hope you and your family had a wonderful start to the year and that you have a great weekend! ❤️❤️❤️
I think I have commented in the past, that I love how you use "older" decor from past years. I do this same. I have a lot of the same items as you do. The chicken wire shelf, tiered tray, Hearth and Hand, and Hobby Lobby decor. I add new pieces each season, but continue to use older items. The only thing I changed is, I no longer burn candles. I use a candle warmer and I love it. I always keep out "Winter looking" decor until the end of January. ❄ TFS, and Happy New Year! ❄
Great minds think alike! If I buy something, I want to make sure I get lots of use out of it and it’s definitely more realistic for you all watching. I’ve thought about getting a candle warmer. I do like the flickering light of burning them sometimes but there are places in my home that I think it would be preferable for a warmer instead. Thank you so much for watching, Elaine! 😊❤️
Happy New Year. I’m with you love a more simple decor after Christmas. Everything is so pretty, I have the same lamps ear wreath just a pop of greenery. I’m finishing my winter decor today. You gave me some great ideas. Take care and have a great day and weekend. Always look forward to your videos. 🎊🎊
I’m so happy to hear you were inspired, Susan! Your support and kind words mean so much! That lamb’s ear wreath is one of my favorites for this time of year. I think it makes such a nice transition greenery from winter to spring. I probably should think about getting a couple more lamb’s ear pieces sometime. I hope you had a great kickoff to your year and that your weekend is wonderful! 😊❤️❤️❤️
Happt New Year, Amanda! Your winter kitchen is simple yet so pretty, calming, and cozy. I always think im going to leave out my Christmas stuff well into January, but when the time actually comes, I crave simplicity and a clean slate. You created just the vibe I need. Thank you! ❤❤❤❤Robin
Thank you, Robin! A clean slate is exactly what I’m going for in the new year. I’m glad you liked it. And enjoy the Christmas decor as long as you like. There’s something wonderful about keeping the joy of the holiday into the new year too! 😊❤️
Hello. I have the hobby lobby shelf. It drove me crazy putting stuff inside. I took a hammer and walked of the curved backing. Now I just pop the door down and am able to place decor inside. I bought a cabinet magnet to hold the door up but mine seems to stay on its own
I haven’t been bothered by it personally but I can definitely understand how it can be annoying. I’m glad you found a solution that worked for you so you could still enjoy it! I’m also happy you liked the decor as well! 😊
