Found out about this brother from one of his hits “I know myself” I’m a 18 yr old boy from Nz and I love old school “Og” reggae and reggae dub such wonderful music🍀best genre I rekn and especially for stoners🍃😍so glad I came across this music from age 15 man💯
@@UTshaman thanks brother really appreciate it not many people my age listen or know this kinda music especially in my country New Zealand but I’m so happy I do💯✅😇Love the reggae Culture especially the OG reggae💙
@ I was lucky enough to find myself in the pressing plant of channel one studios. Having bought lots of great records, the huge Jamaican guy serving me puts this on. When it’s finished, he looks at me. I look back. He sighs and plays it again. I GET it. I buy 6 copies and spread the word in London, where I’m living then. Game changing tune….
@@adg_87 absolutely brother, wish their were more recordings by Mr Wilson, he was a giant among men and I was sad to hear that passed just recently. His greatness will live as long as man does, forever !!
This Chuneee belongs in the reggae music hall of fame you have to know and love yourself before you can give to others this song should be a universal anthem

Just discovered that Ernest Wilson passed on 2nd November, I didn't recognise him in the papers, but it has been many, many years since I saw him. What sad news and what a huge talent he had, but his music will live on, tunes such as 'I Know Myself' 'Why Oh Why' 'Freedom Fighter' 'Money Worries' & 'Pick Them Up' a favourite tune. Not forgetting Ernest Wilson was half of The Clarendonians (with Peter Austin) with tunes like 'You Won't See Me' 'Shoo Be Doo Be' 'Lonely Heartaches' I could go on and on, such a beautiful singer. R.I.P. Big Man 💖
