About Austin City Limits
ACL offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. The program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL is the longest-running music series in American television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts. Since its inception, the groundbreaking music series has become an institution that's helped secure Austin's reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World. The historic KLRU Studio 6A, home to 36 years of ACL concerts, has been designated an official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark. In 2011, ACL moved to the new venue ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL received a rare institutional Peabody Award for excellence and outstanding achievement in 2012.

I do not think there could be a better way to express the human experience on this earth. Only memories remain, a lesson I learned at a young age losing a lot of people I cherished in my life, my fathers siblings, my aunts and uncles that were survivors of residential school in British Columbia, Canada. I immediately gravitated to this song for its meaning and recognition of the colonial history that has stripped indigenous identity by replacing place names. And with my father passing on Jan.4th, 2021 at the young age of 64, only memories remain. But I have Hope knowing the love we share outlives us all and our bodies will surely fall but our spirits are everlasting. Truly such a beautiful song, thank you MMJ.

I wish the studio version was this smooth and sexy, is it just me that thinks the recorded version sounds a bit rigid?
I wouldn't necessarily call it rigid, but they relatively capped the instrumental jam aspect on the studio version. They left the proverbial door open for live interpretations of the song, I believe.

@@AndySalinger33 A friend told me rock and roll is dead. I told them Muse opened in 2023 and played the opening track off their late 2022 album, and it slayed the huge basketball arena.
