I used to sell the whole hard drives to CEX, I seem to remember getting a few quid each for them, I found it was more profitable than scraping them out and a heck of a lot quicker.
Club TV kodi stick is what you want ,my uncle pays £80 a year subscription and you can get all the channels , netflix and prime tv for no extra charge .Literally just plug it in your smart tv and thats it
My dad was suckered into upgrading to Sky Q because he contacted Sky about having another HD box installed in his bedroom. They turned the patter on by telling him Q was the best option and he signed up without doing his research. That was a couple of years ago, and within months of having it fitted, it started to go south. The box in his bedroom would intermittently unpair with the main box in his living room, leaving the only way to fix it by turning both boxes off for 30 seconds to clear the the system and then reboot and manually repair. I told him to phone them up and get them to come back, take it all out and put the original boxes, but when he phoned them, they told him they couldn't because it was a one-way process that couldn't be undone. They offered to send out an engineer more than once to look into the problem in case it was a local hardware issue, and they would always say things like "it should work now" or "yeah, there was an problem, but we are already aware of it and it's a network issue that we are already working on and it should be fixed within the next 5-7 days." and it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference. Since then, it's deteriorated to the point where the picture freezes for a couple of seconds to losing it altogether leading to him having to reboot everything. Even the EPG goes on the fritz now. Out of a single 24 hour period, there can be between 12 and 18 hours of EPG information that's missing. He'll scroll through the listings and see something that starts at 10am and then the next program listing is for 2am the following morning. My anyone thinking of signing up to Sky Q is don't bother.
@@ScrappingScotland Sorry mate but the sky Q box is owned by sky when your contract ends, not like the hold sky+ boxes so watch they don't come after you. Good luck with your channel.
@@southwalesmat fair enough buddy . This one was donated with a whole load of other scrap electrical items so not my issue. I'm just showing what's inside them :)
