I’ve had the silver Archer on my board for about two years. I use it as a boost with a dirty amp. It’s amazing! I’ve used the Timmy, the Xotic RC and the Vertex Boost. They were all amazing but the Archer just adds more dimension and feels good under the fingers IMO. I also occasionally stack it with a Jan Ray.
thanks for doing this one. To anyone within 30 miles of San Pedro, you need to visit Alvas. Best pedal selection anywhere. You can watch youtube videos all day, but there's nothing like staring at hundreds of the greatest pedals and being able to make your selection after playing through a few. Great people, thoroughly knowledgeable and pedal geeks just like you and me. Downside: now I have amp and guitars GAS and I thought that was settled. Whatever you have at home or in your studio, they've got something else to fill your soul.
Nice comparison, BUT I would ditch the "auto compression" mode, on whatever your recording with. Every time you roll the volume down, as you hold a chord, the compression swells in reaction to the dropping volume...in effect, over compensating the volume level, so that the guitar gets louder as you roll off the volume. Its a bit distracting... other wise, nice work.
Chapman guitars are possibly the worst brand you can get for your money. I mean when it comes to quality/price ratio Chapman is at the bottom of the barrel I mean let's say you pay 600 bucks for a Chapman and you think you're getting something as good as a MIM Fender... well think again.

Nicely done man thanks. I just ordered gold but silver just a bit open
Thanks for the demo

The Rockaway Klon is amazing, why have just a treble knob when you can have the EQ

Thanks for that very good comparison of the Archers!
Cool comparison! Seems like the Rockaway is the Ikon with expanded EQ. The Silver Archer is just clearer and less boxy.
I had 'em both. Sent the gold back.
I like the silver archer
Love your vids! Keep it up!
You have too much compression on your videos man! :)
Yep. It’s squashed. But still an awesome comparison.
Me want silver Archer... lol
why does the tele look so very small?
Silver archer 🤙🏻
