You know what scared me most as a kid? The previous bride before she was replaced by Constance, the Beating Heart Bride. I always made my mom/dad sit on that side of the doombuggy.
At least with Constance, you know what her deal is. The Beating Heart Bride just floated there...menacingly.

Pinocchio's ride is probably the scariest because it replicates the donkey scene and that is, I think, legitimately the most frightening scene in all of Disney. It's just disturbing.

In the original Snow White ride it was implied that you died at the end of the ride
Wow.....that seems strange since the movie obviously ends with the happily ever after like you would expect from a fairy tale. I wonder what made the engineers behind the ride want to end it like that?

It's a small world is the scariest ride, hands down. I went on it when I was 5 and had nightmares afterwards. Just the whole concept of dark rides is terrifying and bizarre. Rooms full of puppets and weird fake backgrounds, uncanny valley for days!
When I first rode it, it really creeped me out because the music was a lot quieter than all the other rides I had been on that trip. So, in addition to the music, I could hear the splashing of the water against the boat, and, for some reason, the boats to the front and back of us were empty. It was just my boat, riding along a canal that no one else was on, watching dead eyed dolls wriggle back and forth to a backing track.

You left out the scene where Monstro jumps out at you in Pinocchio's Daring Journey. Scare the bejeezus out of me when I first rode the ride, and I was 13. Imagine how little kids would feel.

Lies. Absolute lies. We visited Disneyland in May of 2018. While Snow White has jump scares, it was fun. PINOCCHIO HAS HAUNTED MY SLEEP TO THIS DAY. It’s been over a YEAR and I STILL can’t sleep without a light on and I’m a grown adult. I experienced a panic attack on it. My sister, who is usually very levelheaded, nearly experienced a panic attack on it. To this day, we do not speak of Pinocchio.

I think the scariest thing I've ever seen from Disney was the horned king animatronic. I also rode the first version of snow white as a child though and that was terrifying. I never rode great movie ride but I think the alien and wicked witch animatronics look very scary.

I remember going to Disney when I was like 4 and we wanted to go on the Snow White ride because we thought "hey it's snow white how bad could it be?" but THANKFULLY the crew member told us the ride was probably too intense for me so we went somewhere else instead. After seeing this I can confirm I would have been traumatized by this ride for atleast a MONTH if we went on it
I also remember the first time I went on the Great Movie Ride, as soon as the tour guide mentioned scary movies I put my hands over my eyes then crouched forward in the closest thing to a fetal position I possibly could do in those seats, until my parents poked me when the scene was over. That scene was not suitable for 9 year old me.
That being said that ride was and is my favourite Disney attraction and I’m still mad it’s gone. Especially knowing that Mickey’s Runaway Railway is coming to Disneyland without taking away an attraction there. It could have been a unique to Disneyland thing but noooooo

Annoyingly it took until this video for me to properly realise that Disney now owns the Alien franchise. So... Alien ride when, Disney? Could even make it an escape room, the skulking stealth aspect of the Xenomorphs lends itself well to that. I dunno, just spit-balling ideas here.
They did have an alien ride. The reaction of kids walking out when unknowing parents would take them was priceless.

Ok but the scariest moment in the Haunted Mansion is when the heads pop up from behind the tombstones in the graveyard. I jump every time. Even when the ride has stopped right there and I know it’s coming, I still jump.

You forgot the full Carnotarus that runs at your vehicle when it gets stuck in Dinosaur. It is 10x scarier than the last carnotarus.
I've never had a chance to experience the other rides when I was at DisneyWorld (had set time to be where us band kids needed to be) but I did ride the Dinosaur ride and with Autism I should've heeded the sign before entering but I didn't bring any earplugs with me and I would've enjoyed it more if I had them on instead of covering my ears with my hands. Still would've hidden my face from the Carnotour though that dino was freaking scary
I have a story regarding Mr. Toad's Ride. I went on the ride with my sister and I was probably five or six at the time. I was fine UNTIL the end. At the end, a huge demon popped up and it started laughing manically. I started screaming and began to cry.
The ENTIRE time I rode Dinosaur for my first time, my eyes were closed...honestly I haven't rode it since ... and I don't really get scared easily
Has to be the Phantom Manor as the most scariest!
There was also sometimes another Alien on the right side on the Great Movie Ride.
There's one on the right coming out of the wall and one above coming from the ceiling. I used to be a tour guide there. :)

I really hope a Xenomorph can return to either Disney Parks, or be licensed to Universal for Halloween Horror Nights now that the Alien franchise was included as part of the Fox deal.
Heck, since Stitch’s Great Escape did far more harm than intended to Alien Encounter, I wonder if Disney would ever consider revisiting Eisner’s concept of making it a tie in to the Alien films? Fat chance, but still something to think about.

The alien in the now closed great movie ride was the scariest.
Oh those old crocodile logs used to nearly board your vehicle! They would come up so close it was very uncomfortable yet AWESOME! I miss the old versions of Snow White
I also think that Splash Mountain had some legit scary parts, It was kinda unnerving hearing all those giggles in a dark cave, a drop in the dark that goes down and comes back up like you wouldn't think a log flume would be able to do and always makes me feel like its gonna jump the track, the sudden dark music and vultures taunting your doom, the eyes in the dark, and the big shadow of brer fox. That's the disney i fell in love with lol

Having to wander through a big, expansive dark ride on foot, especially if everything was like inanimate and deadpan, would probably make me shit my pants.
Why am I imagining older people riding the Snow White ride as a laugh to yell at the witch "Fuck off you old bitch, I not eating your apple!" Like the removed mode in the Slender game where it plays 'Gimme twenty dollars' whenever Slendy appears which made me and my partner yell out "No! Fuck of I don't have 20dollars!"

Last time I was at Disneyland Paris I had the weirdest experience. Every time I looked at the Phantom, he was looking right at me. Even when I kept looking back. You could think: it's designed to do that. But it only happened to me that one time. Creeeppyyyy

I always thought the Ripley animatronic on Great Movie Ride needed more movement...like breathing heavily,and every few seconds,cautiously leaning forward to glance down the corridor the vehicle headed into,then quickly jerking back to avoid detection.
Maybe next you guys could invite DSNY Newscast for a special crossovers.

I haven’t had a chance to go to Disneyland yet but I live near Orlando and go to Disney world all the time and I miss the old dark rides soooooo much. I can’t wait to be able to go to Disneyland I will run immediately to fantasyland and relive my classic dark ride childhood.
I think the 'Alien' scene would've been scarier if that wasn't the ONLY ride to have minor malfunctions on the day I rode it. Never saw the ceiling attacker, and The Big Chap in the wall was moving too slow to spook me in time.
I went on the Snow White ride in 2003 and still remember how scary it was (I was 12 then, so it’s not like I was an easily frightened little kid…I even went to Knott’s Scary Farm that week!)

Mr. toads wild ride actually slightly traumatized me because my ride on it as a kid stopped.....with my cart in Hell....nuff said but it is funny in hind sight. That said, why was Fantasyland so damn freaky!? Also, since I love Indiana Jones, I need to ride Dinosaur. Also Woo!!!i adore Haunted Mansion and much like Dinosaur, I want to ride Phantom Manor one day. Also, do you think Alien may finally find its way into a Disney Park one day now that it is under the Disney umbrella via the fox merger?

My version of Phantom Manor in Minecraft:
The foyer's effects are removed
The stretching room's lightning is synchronized with the music.
The three new paintings are removed and are replaced by: the Burning Man, the Tree Lady and the Cat Woman.
The load area's lighting is changed to the. 2017 version.
Five new scenes are added: the Library, the Music Room, the Solarium. the Endless Staircase and the Sinister 11 hall.
The Haunted Mansion's coffin is added.
The Corridor of Doors is expanded.
Madame Leota's Parlor's lighting is changed to the old version.
The bride's Budouir is replaced by the Attic from Tokyo's Mansion.
The catacombs are removed.
The ghosts of Thunder Mesa are now hollow.
The crypt is the replacement for the suitors' rypt.
I can't believe you put fucking Mystic Manor which is one of the most cute and friendly rides and didn't put Tower of Terror, that shit freaked me out as a kid, i came out of there bawling, i was so scared my aunt had to buy a whole bucket of caramel popcorn for me to intake some sugar and calm the fuck down
