- Mighty Corvette C7 Z06 Goes up against The 700WHP BUILT BIG TURBO G35. Z06(Auto) has with Intake, headers and tune 609whp/650wtq. G35 is around 700whp/570wtq on a hub dyno (reads on higher end). Both cars ~3500 lbs/94oct.
Corvette: Torque and Auto advantage
G35: Horsepower advantage.

I think I’d personally take the extra torque over the the top end of the single turbo being that these two cars aren’t hugely far apart in power numbers but obviously two completely different platforms. Good runs!
Absolutely, Thers also another factor which is power band, C7 makes all its torque all the time. But the G's New cam setup pushes all the power in the upper rpm. The old cam had more torque mid range which would completely change it again

No 2nd is great but if you watch the last video with the z4 it's not worth going from 2nd you just spin plus then gotta pack a gate and it's better to just up the starting speed a bit and brake boost beautifully in 3rd and ride the power band.
Hey man I have a g35 that I'm about to build myself and I was wondering where did u start. MIne needs body work exterior and interior and then it also have frame work too. A lot of parts needs to be replaced cosmetic. Then of course, suspension and then the engine and so much more where do I begin on my journey wanted to get a opinion from a built g35 owner. Probably 20k minimum,, with used parts maybe 10-15 if you're doing work yourself

First switching back to stock master because most of these problems I noticed after going to heavy duty master. If that doesn't fix it then yes
My 1st was a 05 G35 coupe manual back in 09 put like 15k into the car did almost everything except turbo
My 2nd 2011 auto was a G37 coupe IPL in 2018
My 3rd was in 2021 another 05 G35 coupe auto
And now in 2023 an 04 auto G35 coupe. Its pretty hard to find a decent condition manual in Miami fl
