Safety first release air from breaks engine off Tires blocked
This is a short video on how I replace oil and filter on a Volvo vnl ishift transmission.
Will need 1 1/2 for filter.
1 1/4 or 12mm Allen for fill and drain
for correct oil filter recommend calling the dealer with your VIN but commonly used are
Volvo oem p#20779040 or Donaldson filter p# p5733350

Very good I learned from that Thankyou one thing I always do too is take the filter O ring off the back of the plastic part so I don’t drag dirt across the threads before I pull the new one on

on the driver side my black plastic cap is on top and a metal cap is on bottom. will the filter still be under the plastic cap or is under the metal one on the bottom?
