Nice review buddy! ! I’ve tried and owned several helmets and one of the most important things is to make sure the helmet design matches the application. For example, I have a nice modular scorpion which is made for sport bikes (designed for the head being on ducking / moto GP position) hence it becomes louder riding on a touring bike (sitting up position) Thankfully my bike has an electric windshield so I can move it up and eliminate the wind noise all together. I mainly a fan of Bell Helmets and love my carbon lid. (Very quiet and light)

Interesting 🤔 I have the Simpson Ghost Bandit Aurora and it feels great. Came with a chin skirt. No louder than my modular helmet.

Did you ever come up with an idea for installing a chin skirt. I kind of like the idea of having a minimalist helmet. I would assume that this helmet is very easy to put on and take off quickly. Appreciate the review.
Simpson makes some great products. I have used Simpson helmets for drag racing for years and trust them completely. This helmet is definitely a price point helmet lacking some of the features of other Simpson models and does not have a Snell rating. Helmets are a personal decision. I believe a rider should consider the safety rating of a helmet, the impact energy absorption of the liner and the fit of a helmet ... not just the size, but the interior shape of the helmet and the shape of the rider's head. As with most things, better products will cost more money.

Never bought a Simpson before. The interior looks exactly like the Biltwell Lane Splitter. The mic popping, did you change new mics? The mic didnt sound like it was HOT popping. Regardless, good review and test ride of the helmet
