My birthday is Valentine’s Day and I don’t celebrate it at all. Last time I celebrated my birthday I was 9 years old at Chuckie Cheese. Every I learned about this many years ago. I let all holidays go including my birthday.
Only one that comes to mind is birthday but the only way I see it as sinful is you expecting everyone to treat you differently and expecting you to get gifts. Birthdays should be celebrated but in my opinion as a way of celebrating that you've lived another year and you're thankful to God for making that happen
I been stopped celebrating holidays for 20 plus years. One year when my daughters were young, someone put razor blades in the snickers, I stopped celebrating halloween after that. Sloth is Labor Day not St. Patricks Day, Pride is Mother's Day and Father's Day, because The parents try to find out which parent is the best. Valentines Day is Envy because there are lots of single people out here.
My people eat they coincide with some of the feasts that are in the Bible be careful where you get your information from specially when it comes from a man and not God all sin is deadly the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life
Valentines celebrate your love for someone. Thanksgiving you celebrate what you are thankful for. Christmas, you celebrate by giving gifts to the ones who mean the most to you, and if you're Christian, the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Easter, you celebrate Jesus sacrifice for us and resurrection. St Patrick's day yeah people drink a lot which I personally believe is stupid but I'll give them that one. Anyone who has a decent moral code and faith in God knows the true meaning of these holidays and they are only sinful if you dilute their true meaning by turning them sinful
@rosemarietolentino3218 before I respond to your question may I ask what you mean by your question? Are these holidays sinful to celebrate or do you mean something else?
This is only by what you were taught & so its hear say at this point! & that I highly doubt you actually took a deep dive study to do the research yourself. It honestly isnt what you think it is! Some of these Holidays are actually much darker than you realize! So I definitely stopped with Easter 1 & 2 Christmas? I'm not a fan of either, but will only see family & friends. So I'm sn Exmormon & an exchristian.
Actually I already new this & all holidays, especially Christmas & Easter are so much darker than people acknowledge. If the bible is true, and Christians' religion is correct and Christ is the way, then why are people ignorant to celebrating pagan holidays & if the bible is true why are people having one foot in h*ll & the other in heaven?? Exmormon & exchristian here! When I found this sh*t out & saw what people were doing. I stop believing! Everyone is a hypocrite. So there was another path that was kinda chosen for me!
This is really more about what sins people commit on the holidays not the what they represent you can celebrate holidays just do it in a way the glorifies God although I’m not 100 percent sure about Halloween though
I think they mean that we are celebrating the Romans that killed Jesus. Why did they kill him? Because of envy. So the very act of celebrating his death is envious.
Sin is breaking God's Law. Anything that separates you from Him. It is Written that we are to have NO gods before Him! He doesn't mix with the pagan. Take it up with His Word, not me.
I’m just gunna say this, Now I enjoy these holidays but I’ve always hated Christmas, Because I hate trying to find a gift for someone and they never like it or use it, And I’m also guilty 99% of the Christmas presents I have received I don’t have and never used, Now he mentioned pride, pride was the last of the seven that recently became accepted by the mainstream, It may be time for the devil to awaken if he hasn’t already
For starters, Christmas is actually Yule, and many people do not know this & if they do, they are not acknowledging enough! Yule was celebrated long before Christ was ever born! Today, we still celebrate Yule, but just with a different name: Christmas. There is nothing at all to do with Jesus' birth, at all!
What is presented here is interesting, but mostly false. Jesus was never born in December but rather near the end of September (6 months after His cousin John the Baptist who was born March/April time). Who was born in December (the true tenth month of the year, not the twelfth month) was various heathen rulers. The Catholic Mass is the celebration of Jesus' death, not His birth. So Christmas is actually about His death. Jesus wasn't born when winter arrived because the shepherds would never have been out in the fields freezing their butts off, becoming a danger to themselves and their herds by putting up with the severe temperatures, freezing rain & snow, and worst of all... the wild beasts that would have preyed upon them *IF* they were stupid enough to be out in the fields. Shepherds took their herds out in the Spring and brought them back to the corrals/stables before the heavy Fall rains began. The Bible gives us clear clues about the period when Jesus was born, and it certainly was not in the winter season. Most all holidays celebrated around the world can be traced back to "Nimrod" and his wife Semiramis who were heavily involved in what became known as the occult. "Nimrod" was the rebellious one who hunted people down and took their lives; those who refused to comply to his ideologies & monstrous power trip while they remained faithful to God. The Romans weren't envious of Jesus. The Jewish leaders (the Pharisees & Sadducees) were the ones who had issues with Jesus. The Romans didn't care what the Jews did as long as they, including Jesus, were not creating rebellion against their power. Jesus was a threat the Jewish leaders and because He claimed to be equal with God the Father. Scaring children and adults alike is not wrath. What it is is it being called terrorizing people through ignorance and fear. Wrath is anger/hostility towards another.
No it really isn't. These holidays aren't the way they used to be to begin with so how are you going to say they are all representations of the 7 deadly sins when they are nothing like they were when they started. You want to say the modern ways we celebrate it reflect the seven deadly sins, fine, but don't pretend as if that's the point of them because it's not

Well, it's Friday and it's my day
Just to party all the way 'til Sunday
Maybe 'til Monday, I don't know what day
Every day's just a holiday
Why people so scared of saying Pride? Thats why it is the devils holiday! Yall better get right with Jesus

“Nah nah we’re not gonna say that”

On point real truth there
which one?

My family hates that my wife and I don’t celebrate holidays anymore.
That's okay
You will be hated by those who submit to the ways of the world Jesus said the world will hate you but it hated me first
God bless you both

The way I heard it was that our own birthday is representing pride.

The flesh lusts against the spirit and the spirit lusts against the flesh. What eyes are you looking through?

Well Jesus gave gifts so dose that mean spiritual gifts are greed? And also who is scaring people on Halloween except robots and stuff?
Where can I find the full videos?
Well, By God, I'm a Catholic who loves Wrath and sloth.

I kinda knew that those days felt off but yeah probably that’s why
They're actually much much darker than that! Why you feel off about them. 🤷🏼♀️❤
The easter one kinda breaks this theory. Nothing we do on easter has to do with envy.
I think they mean that we are celebrating the Romans that killed Jesus. Why did they kill him? Because of envy. So the very act of celebrating his death is envious.
Christmas is a lie for one
2. Its Coveting
3. Its idolatry
Would it hurt to quote joe rogan for bringing that out in the first place
Lol did he?
They always mention six and not the seventh they always stop at on pride
What's the 7th?
It supposedly its wrath.
Scammers telling lies. Sin is a choice one makes not a holiday.
True. On Thanksgiving you can celebrate it with your family. And just have 1 plate 🍽️
Sin is breaking God's Law. Anything that separates you from Him. It is Written that we are to have NO gods before Him! He doesn't mix with the pagan. Take it up with His Word, not me.

Solar eclipse: I am an holiday yay :)
It’s just one of those things on the internet that stupid people come up with and even stupider people believe…

Lies. Holidays r not the sin!
They're 100% pagan which mixes other gods with The One True Yah/God. THAT makes it sin as it separates mankind from Him.
