Hi Marta! Thank you so much! I used Photoshop to pixelate the photo and then ran a program to change each pixel color to a number. If you'd like to get one for yourself, subscribe to my newsletter as I'll be offering the blueprint creation service soon. 🙌🏻
Hello! Would you help me? I want to do a specific portrait and I don't know how to make the project about a pixel art. Is there an app that you use? And another question: what kind of thread are you using? Its so beautiful! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Hi Sofia! First of all, thanks for the comment! The cord I'm using here is Bobbiny's 5mm braided cord - I absolutely love it. 💛 To make the numbered pixel blueprints I use Photoshop and a custom coding program. I haven't found an app that makes these, but perhaps there is one out there. 😅 In any case, I can help you with the blueprint if you'd like, I offer it as a custom service. You can check out more info here: curiouscraftstudio.com/product/macrame-pixel-portrait-tutorial/
Hi Vicki! You can add more filler cord by simply knotting a few clove hitches with two filler cords (your old one and the new one) and then switching. Then both cord ends are tucked and locked in safely and you can cut them away and keep knotting with your new filler cord. Does that make sense?
Hi there! My husband coded a custom script for me to use, so unfortunately it's not available for the public anywhere. That said, if you look for websites that create cross stitch patterns you might find one that makes these grids that you can then use for macrame, there just won't be with numbers.
Great way to carry the cords as you go! Thanks.
Thanks Shelley! 💛
Wowww... Thank u for that great video.. This really is a game changer for me❤️❤️❤️

How do you add length to the filler cords if it turns out the cords are not long enough?

Hi Karina! I'm using Bobbiny's 5mm braided cotton cord. Love it!
With what program can I transform a photo?
