Just for those who don't know is that Doogal (spelled Dougal in the original British version) is based off of a 60s-70s tv series called The Magic Roundabout (which roundabouts are what carousels and merry-go-rounds are called in Britain) that was never broadcasted on American TV but extremely popular in the UK and Ireland but obscure for the rest of the world. In the early 70s they even made a movie for the TV show released in Great Britain cinemas called Dougal And The Blue Cat. Then in 2005 they made a CGI reboot movie for nostalgia purposes but then oddly enough brought it over to the US but did some cutting, changed all the British voice actors except 2 to American voice actors, then North America changed the title to Doogal. I own the original British (though I live in America) version of the movie on DVD along with the DVD UK release of Dougal And The Blue Cat, and I also own complete series DVDs to other British cartoons that are extremely popular in the UK and Ireland that are more obscure for the rest of the world of Bagpuss and The Clangers. If you want to get the original British version of Magic Roundabout as well as the mentioned Bagpuss and The Clangers you'll need a region free Blu-Ray player or DVD player (which I own one of those) are region locked.
Doogal us cast of the characters that are McDonalds toys: 0:10 Zebedee - Ian McKellen 1:12 Doogal - Daniel Tay 1:42 Soldier Sam - Bill Hader 2:28 Ermintrude - Whoopi Goldberg 3:31 Dylan - Jimmy Fallon 4:27 Train - Chevy Chase 6:04 Zeebad - Jon Stewart 6:54 Brian - William H. This is where I learned of the movie Doogal and then from a DVD commercial of Hoodwinked and then of course the trailer of the movie on the DVD of it too.
7:45 Those are Brian’s heart boxers. Boxers are like underwear that look like shorts. I have not seen Doogal, but this was an awesome set review. Can’t believe this movie is 17 years old.
That train gives me PTSD. It was a time I was volunteering as an assistant Sunday school teacher at my church. The teachers had a meeting and naturally, being the only teenager, I wanted to look mature. It was a lunch meeting, too. Then, my mom brought me a Happy Meal. It had the train toy from Doogal.
Florence (Minogue) and her animal friends live in the Enchanted Village, which is under the care of Zebedee (McKellen), a kindly wizard. However, a dark cloud approaches this sunny world. After being encased in ice for eons, Zeebad (Baker), his evil double, reappears and threatens to start another ice age. The only way to stop him is for her and their friends to find three magic diamonds before he does. Based on the cult TV series "The Magic Roundabout."
The Magic Roundabout tv series is a little more obscure to American audiences. I also know other British cartoons that are popular and iconic but more obscure to the rest of the world like Bagpuss and Clangers (which I own both of those complete series on DVD).

I remember having that soldier Sam. I was so confused getting him because I remember at the time ninja turtles were the McDonald’s toys, and I got him, I didn’t even know where he was from because I remember the bag didn’t say what he was from. I had fun with him but I always found him an underwhelming happy meal toy
In case you didn’t know, this was based of an old children’s show called the Magic Roundabout, in 2005, Pathe and Action Synthese made an animated film based on the show, it was good in my opinion, but then, in 2006, Hollywood’s most infamous douche, Harvey Weinstein made a US sub and was a complete failure at…well, everything!
I got so mad at this Jerk named Laura In 2nd grade about that exact toy. I brought the entire doogal set shown here for show and tell right? And when I reached the doogal plush she said to me how do you know there’s not fleas in there. And that was so rude she has to move her behavior clip to the yellow warning zone and apologize to me.

I have the original Magic Roundabout (what the Americanized Doogal is) DVD and it's based off of a British cartoon called The Magic Roundabout. It's extremely popular in the UK and Ireland but a little more obscure to the rest of the world as it was never broadcasted on North American channels and I even have another Magic Roundabout movie made in the show's era (late 60s-early70s) called Dougal And The Blue Cat. Roundabouts are what carousels and merry-go-rounds are called in the UK. I also even own more British animations that are popular and iconic in the UK and Ireland but more obscure in the rest of the world on DVD of every episode of Bagpuss and Clangers.

I had these; I miss my Soldier Sam. He was defective (his light would come on even when he was off), but I loved him a lot. :(
Although I was alive in '06, I was 3, I have literally never heard of Doogal, like wtf even was it? 🤨
