i think what makes this song stand out and be so amazing is the trumpet / saxophone usage. If it werent for those instruments this song would sound exactly like all the other punk rock bands from that time and get lost
It stands on its own I think, you can go listen to an acoustic version without horns. But yes I think the horns do give it that little extra push and make it unique, that's true.
