Chris! Hahaha-you bring up great points. We are located in the U S of A so that’s where the freedom units come in. I gather the wetsuit industry uses metric units simply because the thicknesses are so small. Instead of saying .12 inches thick, they say 3 millimeters. Anywho, just figure out how cold your water is and then match that to any wetsuit water temperature chart and it’s hard to go wrong.
