    The founder of Judo never envisioned his combat system as needing excessive strength training in a gym. This aspect of it misunderstands the entire concept that he had devised in the very beginning.

      I’m sure having a lot of strength makes everything that much easier tho right

      @@Joseph-f7z If strength is everything, then why bother with Judo? The whole point of the skill itself becomes lost and the contestants may as well be doing free form cage fighting in order to defeat their opponent.

      @@Joseph-f7z Kisaburo Watanabe was a prime example of skill and agility over strength in order to defeat an opponent. And although he did have a very fine physique, not once did he ever use weights to supplement his training. I therefore refer you to my previous comment.

      ​@@geoffberesfordЧтобы бороться нужна сила,выносливость мышц.Чтобы не получить травму.Технику тоже оттачивают.Если мышцы не будут сильными,фунуцинальными.Как ты собираешься бороться?Сиди и не умничай дед.В твоих словах вообще нет смысла.
