I think that my country, Brazil, purchased two Dreadnaught Class battleships, the Minas Geraes and the São paulo, that is the same as the tier III Belerophon. I would be pleased with they put a premium ship of the Minas Geraes that served up to 1957.
Its too bad that the real ships end at Tier 7 (minus the Nelson). I always prefer playing those as opposed to the paper ships as they have real history/career behind them.
They added the Vanguard (last ever battleship to enter service - 1946, although she started her sea trials in 1944) as a premium T8. The Lion was at least a real design (just got cancelled once it was obvious BBs weren't the future). I'll take cancelled designs over pure conjecture.

and you come to the Lion that has 463 DPS, that is simply NOT average, that shreads planes like its nothing, but 3.5km is normally a bit late so I think speccing AFT is very worth on this ships

Notser You need to build in full AA USN to get the DPS numbers Conqueror or Lion gets on mid-range, Montana gets 325 DPS cca. on the mid range while Conqueror gets more than 500... building into AFT makes it incredibly strong, definietly not average, especially on T9 and T10, but as much as I see all tiers have very strong mid-range but the range on it is average/low. Iron Duke gets over 100 DPS while something that is considered strong AA ship in T7-Gneiseinau has bit over 100 DPS. AA on RN BBs are absolute no fly-zone with bit of building into it
And you need to switch imo from Fire prevention which in high tiers isn't big of a deal since your concealment can make you disengage from the fight very fast
Monarchs concealment is total bull. Even if I go full stealth on my Hipper/Prinz Eugen it can only get to 11.3km or something like that, it's utterly ridiculous that something the size of a BB can outspot a cruiser... just ludicrous. Tier VIII CA/CL have a hard enough time getting one shot by BB guns as it is without getting ambushed by the f**king things. That needs nerfing even if it just gives the KM CA's a few hundred metres advantage. It's about as stupid as a CA outspotting a DD... which is very stupid.
That point is mute however, since it someone wants to progress to the Roon and Hindenburg their only option is to play the Hipper for quite a period of time. Also the class is good, it's AP is utterly devastating when used correctly and her buffed bow armour will bounce all 15" shells fired at her. The Eugen in particular is great at charging bow on since she has god like torpedo angles in comparison to her tech tree counter part. Being up tiered is an issue for all tier VIII ships, including DD's given there is a much higher incidence of radar and german hydro at tier X. You try playing a Harekaze with only 13.3k HP against Moskvas and Minotaurs... it doesn't end well I can tell you that.
British BB broke the game a BB should have better concealment than ships smaller then them selves battleships are some of the largest ships in any fleet yet to have a better concealment then CA´s thats just bull i know its a game but let´s put in a little reality as larger tings are easier to spot at range than smaller things you cant fight a monarch with a cruiser but at range you at least have a chance and that`s all i want a chance to win a fight take the chance away why even fight its like playing a lottery there is a chance you might win so you play but if there was 0 chance of winning you would have to be monumentally stupid to play that game and im seriously considering playing nothing but DD´s now just because of British BB´s
The Nelson class of ship (Rodney) is the only battleship ever to torpedo another battleship (Bismark); these were tubes fitted below the waterline. Is it not ironic but understandable (for over power reasons) that Nelson does not have torpedoes. They were rather large fish which inspired the IJN to design the long lance torpedo (which was slightly smaller and carried less damage capability.
Hoping to see the Italian Regia Marina as the next BB Tech Tree instead of the French one, the guys at WG just can't swap the order again, it would be so, uh, weird and historically offensive.

I don't know, I'd say it would just push back your damage control cooldown further from starting back up. It is more important to get the fires/floods out and start that cooldown to use it again in 80 seconds

High tier battleship gameplay is all about the big guns when so few where actually commisioned. Battleships with over 360mm guns that where commissioned by country. France - 2 Italy - 3 Germany - 4 Japan - 4 USA - 13 UK - 16 (not including the 3 large light cruisers of the Courageous class) And even with that UK has fictional ships for tier 8-10. Damn Japan and the Yamato for screwing up the tiers with it's ridiculous 18.1 inch guns
At least they didn't put in the Yamato's big brother with its 6 [3*2] 20.3 inch guns, then they could shoot across the map and hit you. I am actually surprised they haven't put in that ship as a Premium yet. Or the sister ship to the Yamato, which has the same 18.1 in guns, but it swaps out the 6 in guns for the Yamato with the ones taken from the Mogami when it was upgraded [the Musashi has this general build now] however they would replace the 5 inch guns with many more 100mm [the same guns from the Akizuki] with more AA guns.

Skills like Priority Target, Preventative Maintenance, Super Intendant and Concealment Expert will be your bread and butter. Fire prevention will be useful against the HE spam with paper deck armour.

Notser the Con thingy has a better Camo than most Cruisers, at least than the german, russian and french line. At least it will have cause the Cruisers need to spec for movement rather than camo cause most Cruisers are better off with that cause you are an equal to a BB target in size so that only mobility will save your not so well armoured ass from incoming fire. The next powercreep to cruisers is incoming, why dont wg simply patch the cruisers out of the game with DD so that BB can play uninterrupted? BB need to be nerfed into the ground, a playstyle as a damagesponge just like the typical tank in RPG's is what i imagine. Therefore WG should remove 50% of ROF, increase Surviability by lowering the cooldown of heal and repair, and decrease range and precision, so that BB will only be viable in CC supporting the DD in capping and providing the enemy with a target to shoot at.

419s overperform and 457 underperform, if the ship just used 457 guns it would be the weakest tier 10 battleship

Actually if you look up Hms Vanguard battleship built at the end of world War 2 Her and Conquerer share the exact same hull you can say Conquerer is an upgraded Vanguard.

Notser the Con thingy has a better Camo than most Cruisers, at least than the german, russian and french line.
At least it will have cause the Cruisers need to spec for movement rather than camo cause most Cruisers are better off with that cause you are an equal to a BB target in size so that only mobility will save your not so well armoured ass from incoming fire.
The next powercreep to cruisers is incoming, why dont wg simply patch the cruisers out of the game with DD so that BB can play uninterrupted? BB need to be nerfed into the ground, a playstyle as a damagesponge just like the typical tank in RPG's is what i imagine.
Therefore WG should remove 50% of ROF, increase Surviability by lowering the cooldown of heal and repair, and decrease range and precision, so that BB will only be viable in CC supporting the DD in capping and providing the enemy with a target to shoot at.

I enjoy watching both Flamu *and* Notser - Flamu for the sheer competitive skill and in depth insight into each ship and its optimal build, and Notser because he's just an overall decent human being by the looks of it, even if he goofs around more - that makes him more relatable to me.

I HATE playing British BBs. So-called-accuracy at long-range is total BS. AP is a joke, stupidity to rely on HE, weak armor and slow af! I HATE BBs in general, next to heavy cruisers and carriers, but the British I say are the worst!
