All things bright and beautiful, river in Dawlish still turbulent but river chickens seem happy enough, sea level increasing, planks of the week, Rufus looks extra hungry this day bon appetite, hot chocolate venue 😋 , pier damage and when i wonder will it be mended ? I table a motion to have the captain's table's tables returned forthwith, great old picture of the Beatles hotel and a magical visit to Teignmouth Lovely, the Christmas tree has arrived yay, thanks Bill for a nice tour around with a limited damage report 👏👋
Thanks for another enjoyable video, Bill. Good to see Rufus looking healthy and plump. He'll be looking forward to his Christmas dinner.... Astonishing views of Dawlish! Teignmouth is starting to look very festive. See you tomorrow.😊
Hello Bill good video, glad there wasn't much damage, the pier is always vulnerable. Glad someone has moved in the pet shop,I have a book I bought from there in the 70s ,it's stamped inside Pet Shop The Triangle Teignmouth. Dawlish always gets the brook overflow,at least all the wild life is safe that's good . See you tomorrow Carol
Good dramatic pics from Andy, it looked like a close call for the river level🙀. Best shots yet of Rufus I think😻. Hope the dinosaur is not damaged, I've played a few seaside crazy golfs and Teignmouth is definitely the nicest and best kept😻. 😺
Hopefully the Dino is OK, but its still over on its side now, over a week later... Yes, dramatic footage from Andy - Tomorrow, we have a 'getting back to normal' update from Andy, and on Wednesday, i go and see it in person myself 👍
Hello Bill what a difference a day or so makes looked pretty good in Teignmouth 😊Thank you Bill and Andy for the video of The Brook wow it was angry but a relief to see all of our swans geese and ducks were alright 😊Nice tosee Rufus doing well too . Good to see there wasnt to kuch damage . Im pleased you enjoyed your sunday roast yummy 😋 Ok Bill once again im off for today see you tomorrow enjoy your afternoon ❤😊xx
Hi Bill, Good to see that part of Teignmouth has come through relatively unscathed from Storm Bert. I really hope when they come to name the storm that starts with the letter E they call it Ernie. That way we can reunite Bert and Ernie 😂😂😂. See you tomorrow mate. 👍👍👍
@andybyrne50 alot of water andy. Is that the same watercourse that is up near the hospital I remeber ending up in that area in the pitch dark a few years ago a ford and a bridge. I didn't attempt to cross the ford. I was diverted off the a380 that is how I ended up there and it was sheeting it down with rain. Looked like a nice area. Have you got any videos of the area andy
@@chucky2316it is mate and it can be impassable. Funny enough, it’s a place I’m going to take bill , although I might do a quick visit for how accessible it is in my truck .
@@andybyrne50that would be great im glad I didn't attempt to cross it then, looking at the map I travelled through ashcombe forest very narrow forest road and pitch dark I was glad to see the lights of dawlish. I was panicking a bit not knowing exactly where i was. To see it all in the daylight would be great 👍 I'm looking foward to the video now and what near mis I could have had in my car 😢
Lovely to see the subscribers... I think I said yesterday we had no damage from storm B. But this morning after a normal windy night one of our tin sheds was trying to fly....😂 The old ropes found on the beach held it down fine, but the Chinese tin obviously buckled. 😂. All fixed now.
I know exactly what you mean - Same kinda thing here in a way - They predict the worst, nothing comes of it, then on a 'normal' night you wake up to see carnage all around the garden! 👍👍👍
Thanks for subbing! I do walk the Dawlish Road from time to time - I walk down it from the Rowdens at the end of this video: ruclips.net/video/rdAnGBrkB1Y/видео.html 👍
@@SionsTrainVideosI’m afraid, unless someone comes forward with the money for Heathfield , it will remain like that. I’m going over to film it sometime this week

Hi BIll, what food do you give to Rufus? We have a robin in our garden but he doesn't seem to like suet balls or mealworm.
Its just general 'Mixed wild Birdseed' from 'The Healthy Petshop' - Plus I throw in some mealworms that I get in a tub from Amazon 👍👍👍
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth Thanks Bill. Regards Graham
Old railway line at Newton Abbot got wash away bill .
It still standing
Yes, Heathfield... 😥 Like I say, Teignmouth got off lightly 👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers Mate 👍👍👍
the brook looked very bad. there was flooding on the line just outside of totnes station to plymouth thats why they was cancelled mate
Yes , it floods at Dainton tunnel, that area usually gets it bad , although Newton Abbot got the worst and the old Heathfield branch was destroyed.
@andybyrne50 yeah true it does get it bad there. Heathfield looks a bit like dawlish did 10 years ago
Makes sense - Not surprised really - Teignmouth got off so lightly - Its like 'Storm? What Storm?' 👍👍👍
