hi lewis I read my books in my head while listening to you read and before I found this lovely channel I wouldn't read books but since ive started listening to you ive gotten into reading so thanks from Riley
I remember getting surgery as a child. I had my tonsils removed and didn't swallow anything hard for either weeks or months. It has been years since I can remember it. I can only eat ice cream and drink plenty of cold fluids. I didn't even talk. I only spoke a few words before my throat started hurting. I was in elementary school when that happened, and everyone in class thought I was a brave lad then.

One thing that bugs me about this novel is that roald says his grandfather was born in 1820. However peoples family trees say his grandfather was born in 1834 so i dont understand why roald would say his grandfather was born in 1820?

Yes, boarding school in Dahls childhood seems pretty horrific! He clearly had some terrible experiences with adults and older boys which comes through in his writings

You could read a book quickly if you practice and keep making effort.
I have no clue haw this man sits through reading a whole book out loud in one go. CRAZY 😂😂😂❤❤❤
