    Thank you for these, between you and Swammy g’s channel it’s helped me survive the last few months, every night I have existential crisis and panic attacks, sometimes even if I’m exhausted and I fall asleep I will then wake up in the middle of the night to an immediate existential panic attack. Meditations and surrendering are getting me through it and I have noticed strides in my recovery with the tips you’ve provided and emotions are coming back slowly. Thank you and I hope you keep helping people going through this terrifying process because you really make a difference!

      Sometimes, I miss the feeling of being a sleeper. I envy how people can go about their days without struggling to answer big philosophical questions. But other times, I think that maybe there is a point to all of this. Maybe this is meant to be. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Thank you for all your help, Robin. I’m happy that you’ve been producing videos regarding existential crises and DP/DR. They are no jokes. I struggle a lot with religious obsessions, esp. a fear of hell/simulation/video game. I’ve been trying to surrender (funnily enough, Islam means to surrender), but with religious obsessions, it’s difficult because there is no way to be 100% certain. And it eats away at me.
    Anyway. Hope life in Norway is great and not too cold!

      You right. I stopped and looked from within. We have to remember they HUMAN just like me. Their views are totally different from mines. On top of that I have seen some negativity behind these comments where it comes off depressing as hell. I mean super suicidal in a sense. That scary already in itself. If you not careful you will believe what they believe etc. then some will project their feelings on you about how life is not this or that…I block all that out and pray for them b/c they are truly stuck in darkness mentally and they trying to get out but they not seeing the light fast enough.

    7:00 & 7:40 helping me. Especially learning to just SURRENDER to this experience. I guess once I surrender it won’t be as hard nor be uncomfortable anymore. It will be cool breeze of having a different outlook/perspective on my life. I like how you compared a break up in a relationship to Existential anxiety/crisis. Once you fully get through it the thoughts won’t phase me anymore. I understand this now. Time for the practice of surrender. Thank you 💛

    Hello Robin, I am not the type to write comments and even less under English videos because I am French but I wanted to thank you very much because your videos help me enormously in my recovery from existential anxiety/crisis and DP/DR. I would have loved to contact you for coaching but I'm French and I don't speak much English so I'm happy with your videos with subtitles and they do my morale a lot of good. THANKS.

    I’ve been in counseling since September 2023 for grief, anxiety and mild depression due to 4 life events that triggered me. It’s helped but I always felt I was only treating symptoms and not the root issue. I just saw this yesterday and first 3 minutes of this video described exactly what I was experiencing. Thank you for sharing this. I don’t feel I have DPDR (or maybe only mildly), but I plan to get your recovery course because the existential crisis description resonates with me. -Jerry

    Hello. There are a couple of things I just don’t understand. As you talk about not being attached to external circumstances (like people etc.) doesn’t that mean that the love you feel for your friends, family and close ones is more shallow and fake? Because if you love someone you will hurt if you lose them.. for me not to hurt means you didn’t really love them at all. But at the same time you talk about connecting with other people and enjoying the time together and it sounds contradictory.

    • @robinschindelka2117
      @robinschindelka2117  2 года назад +1

      There's a difference between love and attachment. Love is something you give, and you can feel love as much as you want, while at the same time also remaining detached as much as possible. In this way you can experience love without fear, which is love in its most purest form. However, this is a difficult boundary to draw as love and attachments for people can feel the same. But discovering the difference is one of the most beautiful and spiritual things you can imagine. Think of it like this:
      If your ex breaks up with you, therefore you never see them again, even though you have 'lost' them, you can still choose to love them. Therefore, surrendering to the fact that they're gone from your life and not resisting that by trying to keep them or stay attached, but on the other hand allowing yourself to feel love for them, is unconditional love and truly a spiritual thing.

      I love my parents, my sister, my boyfriend, my dog, and my friends now more than ever before as I am highly aware of death and I now know that relations to other people is what is most meaningful and important. However, I can accept the fact that death exists, which is scary but also what makes every moment with my loved ones so special as I know it will be gone one day. I can feel love more intensely, but also choose to surrender and remain detached

    • @nsmd9991
      @nsmd9991 2 года назад +1

      @@robinschindelka2117 So by detached you mean to say surrender to the fact that you might lose this person, which in turn makes that time with them even more valuable?

    • @robinschindelka2117
      @robinschindelka2117  2 года назад +1

      @@nsmd9991 yes. If you ignore death, you take time with people for granted. As I said, love and attachments are not the same. Love is love, but attachment comes from fear
