I used to have that as a kid. That particular Simon is fast-paced. I'm good at Simon, but I remember one time when playing the hardest difficulty, I got very far and then it started beeping at an extreme speed I couldn't believe (6 times a second), and right away, I knew I was not going to make it. Lol
That is my favorite Simon game to take on the go because it fits right in my jacket/vest pocket and it's very portable and easy to hold and I also like all the buttons are textured for the colors rather than the smooth ones because it makes it easier to feel which one you're pushing
the 4 colors are numbered with very small plastic dots between the raised outter rim and the buttons, where it's hard to see. The 1998 version which has clearer sound also happens to have those dots in a better spot and they are larger.
I just got the Simon off of Amazon and if you want to know which one is lens one it's the ones that produces the high pitch F that one is the one that you push to play Simon says if you push the lens that does the C-sharp tone that's player ads and if you push the lower pitch F ones then it does the elimination one
This version of Simon is so unfair when you're playing solo on a skill 2 level. I get the challenge, but it get way too fast after a certain amount of correct signals that it's nearly impossible for you to memorize the much longer sequences and this is just a skill 2 level!
There are little dots by each lens. I think these must tell which is lens 1, lens 2, etc. They are both in the manual and you can see them faintly on the device too!
Thank you so much!! I bought it off ebay and no instructions, but the game goes a little fast for my 5yo kids. Glad I have the other mini for them.
Thank you for this a lot. I just received this old game but had no idea how to play. I appreciate this for showing the instructions.
Glad the video helped.

Yeah, this version is brutal.

I absolutely love Simon!! The highest level I got up to was probably nineteen, I am still a beginner. Awesome video! :)
Ur not beginner, 19 is quite good!
Yes, there is a blue one, but not sure it is the correct manufacturer. Visit the channel and use the search to find it..

There’s little dots next to the lenses on the instructions
You can find these instructions here: www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Simon_Electronic_Hand-Held_(2002).pdf
Thank you so much!!! :)
The link isn't working for me!
Yellow is lens 1
Hey do you have a blue hand held tetris game? I uses to own one and it was so very fun...
Good, but does this have two sides?
this is the pocket simon, not the simon squared. The simon squared came out 2 years before this and it has the 1 and 2 player sides.
can you send me a picture of the instructions, thanks
I can't seem to find a downloadable pdf of the instruction manual anywhere!
3:04 ohhhhh. Frustration 😖😖😖
Can you send me that?
You need to buy it online
