Amazing review. Thank you so much for this. After taking a test ride of SM650 on highway and city traffic, here's my verdict. The motorcycle has stiff suspension which means you will feel even little jerks, making the ride on typical Indian roads quite uncomfortable. This bike is only meant for excellent roads where there are no potholes. That's where it shines the most. Those who love cruisers, want to ride only on highways, and are ready to live with its limitations can definitely go for this. It will bring a smile on your face on good roads and the highways. 👍
Great video. Beautiful scenery and a complete summary of the Super Meteor’s features. RE is starting to take off here in the States, and this model raises the bar with a great engine on a beautiful chassis, with more features than the Interceptor. Alloy wheels, gear indicator with real fenders front and rear. Hope a mid control option is offered as I’m not a cruiser guy. Oh, and the burnout was a nice touch. All the best from Wisconsin.

Hello, thanks for the review. According to me, in the accessible premium segment of motorcycles in India, we have very limited 'practical' choices regardless of the format/template. Either it is KTM 390 ADV in the adventure touring side of things OR it is the 650 line up from Royal Enfield. Arguably, KTM adventure is more of the tourer than off-roader given the lack of low-end torque. The single cylinder engine produces enough power, also produces mild vibration throughout the rev range which can be annoying and then the tall seat height makes the bike intimidating for some. So, it is not the first best choice for many. On the other hand, the REs 650 line up (GT650 and INT650) did not necessarily cater to the touring enthusiasts. GT650 - this format of motorcycle is not for everyone to be honest. While INT650 is ideal for the most part but the seat (including the touring version) is a pain and a struggle to be on the saddle for long hours. With the arrival of Super Meteor 650, I’m hopeful that it is going to fill that gap for the ask of a ‘comfortable tourer’ to an extent. Besides, the motorcycle looks massive and feels classy. @@JorgeCarvalho-xg9ko well we in India see 2 or 3 riding on a 100cc bike. So this feels really well ;-) Jokes apart, given the segment and price, it should do just well with two on board until unless you wanna be cruising at 110-120 kmph

@@0arjun077 near the cities they are but once your away from them its sealed dirt roads which are dirt roads graded smooth and then sprayed with bitumen and have stones rolled into them , in a lot of places the graded dirt roads are in better condition.

The video was indeed 👌👌. The bike is no doubt a muscle master piece 👌👍. I too saw the bike at one of the RE showroom. However I found few of the loosed points..the rubber stump that connects the speedometer n trip meter at their base looks quite loose n cheap. N it doesn't fit into its socket as well ..i will just request the RE to look into this, as the premiumness of super meteor 650 gets a blow because of such loose points. Rest it's really a big fabulous bike 👍👍
I thoroughly enjoyed the video, well shot, well scripted but being a moto enthusiast, i really didn't appreciate what you did at the end, that wheel drift, as I've seen some reviewers complain about the tire grip when they test the bike. Just a suggestion.

Is there 3km long uphill highway there? i want u to test the bike torque uphill, in my country, i test vulcan S it can climb up to 150km++ long straight uphill. meteor 650 not available yet here atm.
Good video. It looks great. But too heavy, drinks up mileage like juice and the verdict is, not good for long drives because of back pain. But that is the point of a cruiser! So, a cruiser that does not perform the tasks of a cruiser from RE!
The suspension is 100% horrible for Indian roads, after 100kms you will feel like you traveled for 1000km on the Super Meteor. RE messed up the suspension 100%

Roads from Parwanu to Solan are well enough that you can go up to 120 easily on an RE 650. A complete joy of riding a bike on that road.
they have copied the triumph bonneville line, specifically, speed master or bobber to the T, except for the CC difference, thoughts ???

Hi. You'll have to be careful with it on high speed breakers. It can touch the underbelly very easily due to its low ground clearance.
