I always search and search for the perfect pattern to do. Altho all are nice, I can never settle and feel like "this is the one." Then bam u always come out with something and I'm like "that's it!" " That's what I've been looking for". I've made and donated so much stuff to hospital and cancers patients. I have a huge yarn warehouse my hubby built . It's my escape from all the lousy news and the horrible things going on with out country . So thank u again for a great pattern !! 💓

Beautiful! I havent made a shawl in a while, I must say, this pretty shawl is really hard to resist. I don’t need a shawl, but a relative of mine has Breast Cancer and might like it. I could make it into a prayer shawl.

Hi. On row four the last chain was five. On row three it was chain three. Please explain if one end is five and the other three or is it three throughout

I loved this color n pattern
I don't get it. The last three dc in row one make the whole thing lopsided, I can't seem to make it symmetrical. You can see in the video that this is the case with her piece, too but there is no way to tell if this will even out somehow at a later point.

Normally, I use what I have, yarn-wise, and not the recommended. But, in this case, I think it is essential to use the Z Spun yarn in the video. Hate that it is $10 a ball, though.

Beautiful work. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, I have started over a couple of times and it still isn’t coming out right. It looks like one side is off after you turn to start row 4. Help lol
I think the rows look the same, every other row. I 've only watched, but that's what it looks like.

Hi, if you notice the bottom is not pointed. It is supposed to be "straight" . Once you see this the shawl is just fine. You didn't do anything wrong. Hope this helps.

Jennifer, I'm trying to make this shawl but instead of coming as a triangular v, it is very boxy and a straight line at the starting base of the shawl.. not sure how to correct. Mine is looking body for several of the starting rows.. wish I could send a picture..

beautiful shawl. I love the color. I have a question. If the multiple is 4 plus 2, can you do more that 14 chains? can you start with 18 or any number divisible by 4? I was also wondering if more chains would make it look odd shaped. I have broad shoulders, that is why i am asking.

It’s so frustrating for me that you don’t show a few more rows..i haven’t been crocheting long and added 4 stitches to make it bigger..that along with not seeing oral rows makes it confusing for me to know where t begin and end ear and see how it builds….where do we begin each row..right after the turning chain?

She’s forgotten to link the written pattern. Not everyone wants to use the same yarn as she did and she doesn’t say how many rows she completed. She just says that she is using 4, 200 yard skeins.

Having problems with that first chain 5. I got about 5 rows done and for some reason that first chain 5 just looks so big and open compared to all of the rest and I am not sure why? Any suggestions?

Seams like she is having trouble with the hook and yarn. If she has that trouble I’m not gonna tempt it . I’m not as good as crochet than she is .
