    As someone who hasn't crocheted in 45 years, you make us feel so comfortable when you say it's all good. Your mistakes are comforting. You have a beautiful voice and make it so easy to listen to your instructions. Oh, and the color choices are beautiful.

    I have started and stopped several projects for my best friends birthday and nothing felt really right. But then I came across this one and it is right. She's a bundler, in the cold months, she wraps up and bundles all up. I think this will be perfect for her. Thank you for this pattern, it is definitely going to someone who will greatly love it.

    This is super gorgeous. So easy and yet so elegant. I am working on this pattern with a variegated 50-50 linen-silk yarn and it looks fantastic.
    Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

    I like it so much. Thank you🙏😊. Now I just have to watch you again till I get it. I’m slow and I can only crochet when I follow. Otherwise , I won’t be able to do it. I don’t understand patterns and the crochet book. I can only learn by watching and doing it as the same time. Thank you again. You’re a good teacher…

    Jennifer...thank you so much for posting tutorials that are beginner friendly. I have been dancing around crochet for a couple years now and although I have gone through a lot of hooks and yarn, only have a few projects I would actually be proud to model in public. I am so glad to have found your site/channel. I am working thru the Think Pink Friendship Shawl and greatly appreciate the camera angle and your clarity in your instructions. I am a few rows in and gaining confidence. Looking forward to learning from you and duplicating some of the other stitches/projects you share. Thanks again and God Bless

    I’m sitting here working on the same shawl...Using Red Heart’s Ombré... colorway Scuba, which is an Aqua.. I.’m using a. I hook, as I always do when crocheting this pattern.
    The pink is lovely.... Now I want to work with a beautiful pink...or raspberry,...
    I am hoping to begin a prayer shawl ministry at my church, and this will be a perfect pattern to teach beginners. I plan to make 2-3 to show when I introduce the ministry.

    I usually put my 1st row on the foundation row under two of the thread instead of the top one. This tend to give the foundation chain a better, stronger finish... just a suggestion

    Red Heart’s ombré Jazzy, would work well, for this, too. The ombré yarns are a tad lighter, than their traditional super saver yarns, and have a slight sheen. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Thanks, for this pattern, and tutorial. May even use a 7.00mm hook, 🤔😀. I will have to play around and see. 💕

    • @pamm2230
      @pamm2230 4 года назад

      I was thinking the same thing.
      It might be possible to start with the original chain count, then do the first row of double crochet shell groupings to the end of the row as she instructed. Then at the end of the row instead of a double crochet do a chain (3) then slip stitch to the starting chain. Then start a second starting row opposite of the first across the original chain start. This would be a chain start as before (or chain 3, then the double crochet shell), then continue across with the double crochet shells until you reach the end of the row. At the end of the row, chain 3, turn and repeat the double crochet shells across each row. This process should give you the same pretty shell pattern edging.
      Option two would have you do the original start but continue in each direction for just have the length of the desired shawl with the starting chain row in the center halfway point, then go back to the original starting chain row, slip stitch a new strand of yarn to start going in the opposite direction. This method would require you do the exact same number of rows going both ways to make sure the starting chain is directly in the center.
