Very interesting presentation. Japanese jade was listed and this is the first time I've heard of it. It seems to be unknown, well at least to me. Can you do an episode on it. Thanks.
In the western internet it is essentially unknown. The japanese side of the internet it’s pretty well known and is called Hisui (romanized), the most common carving of these japanese jade are Magatamas which many have theorize it to be of fangs, fetuses, a soul, a crescent moon, or the fact the name “Magatama” means to come from the form itself (basically can be up for interpretation)

Indonesia also has Blue Jade though it is Nephrite.I know they also have Jadeite there to. Not as common as the Nephrite.
