@Maurice Terrell in open run gyms in the summer time guys who play with anyone would be like Crawford I'm not even throwing shade at LBJ or his camp. I'm saying its good that guys like Spidah are there it helps player development in the off-season for guys who regularly wouldn't have that choice. Think about it.

tbh I was hoping for Suggs, and I still think suggs will be one of the future staples in the league at the PG spot, but Scottie is looking like the perfect fit.
A lot of our championship roster is gone now, covid really messed with our team availability (like everyone), playing in Tampa couldn't have been easy to settle into for an entire season, and Siakam has needed time to figure out how to be more effective as a 1st/2nd option now that lowry and kawhi are gone.
Gary Trent looks to be disgustingly good with him getting more offensive looks on the Raps (still got love for Norm).
GT-Siakam-Barnes-OG-FVV as a small ball lineup is damn nice. Hell, we can even go big with some of the young guys the Raps picked up. Center spot is lacking, but Boucher can play there. Players like Bonga, Flynn, Banton, Precious, Wainright, Gillespie etc. all show promise. We're bound to see one or more of those guys take a huge step forward. Going to be a tough team defensively to get through, which is all we can ask for at this point.
It looks like the 905 is also going to develop Giannis' youngest brother. Could be nothing, could be everything in due time. Since Toronto to america isn't their ideal destination, we have to develop players like a small market team, despite being a huge market in reality. People underestimate how huge a market Toronto really is.

Ill tell you this, they by far have the best develpment program in the leaugue. You can see the efvidence by looking at how many players go from 905 to the actual team. van Veleets story is crazy, Siakam's story is crazy too.
I think they just set the bar so high by getting a chip so early, but if they dont screw up they can be good for a while. How do you feel about Pascal?
They really could trade him and move forward because they have others at the 4 that do what he does. OGs growth is getting stunted because of this I feel.
Suggs is for sure a franchise changing piece, but I really like Scottie man, I feel like he has that dawg in him like PJ Tucker, Ron Artest

I feel like Donovan Mitchell isn't getting the respect he deserves. Dude almost eliminated the Clippers by himself hopping around on one foot. These past few years in the playoffs he's been on another level. He scores at every level and is damn near unguardable even by elite defenders. They have to start putting respect on his name.

Everybody out here talking about Scottie Barnes's defense. But offensively, apart from not having a consistent outside shot, his touch around the rim is solid, his offensive awareness in terms of when he should cut and timing on offensive boards seem excellent. Also he's got great passing vision. Even if his shot doesn't improve, he would not be a liability on offense, very promising future for him.

Few things
1. I got Mitchell winning MVP this season
2. Drummond does not get enough NBA Love for being able to help teams win games , he has his modern game set backs but he still adds a ton of value
3. Barnes is gonna turn Toronto into a defense powerhouse , they are missing a couple things but he has a whole lot of promise.
4. Sexton is legit , he will get his money from cavs but he has to adapt and play more team friendly ball for it to work , or run heavy 6th man mins but he is legit and more teams should ve willing to trade more for him , just a hard fit with cavs roster as is
4 it's a Cole world , he will have a much bigger year.
5. Hardaway will also take another big step for the mavs , him and Luka are formidable , they need that 3rd wheel that brings what they do not already ( porzingis is not it ) he has value just not as much for them.
