It didn't help that these were sold at Walmart and New Balance was go to sneakers for Dads or Grandpas around the US.
I also pick a half size up in others brands, but what i like of NBs is that i can order the same size on most of their models, something that i cant do with other shoes like adidas, nike, saucony, asics, etc, i have to try them on necessarily in one store to knowing im choosing the indicated size

I have these, and kind of worn them out. Thought of getting another pair but ended up getting a 993 gray white instead :) This was my first NB pair, and they are amazing. Eye catching, received lots of compliments, and extremely comfortable. Just dont use them for everything like I did 😂 I was never into shoes and never owned a pricey pair. I used these for working out, and even hiking... I learned my lesson for sure and wont do the same with my 993s.
I own three pairs of 996's and I'm very happy with them. I'm always looking for the next 996 color variation that I don't have yet. Currently looking at the NB M670 ORC (Original Runner's Club), which look really cool.! Thanks for posting!
im the same with sizing, im stuck between 10.5-11 but with NB 10.5 is just perfect. 10.5 in other brands is a snug fit for me and 11 is always too big with death spaces in weird places in the shoe. 10.5 in NB is just perfect, fits me like a 10.75 lol

I have been trying to get away from the not so comfortable trainers like Veja and Vans (trendy) or the overly popularized trainers like Nike and Adidas...so New Balance it is. They are comfortable, a US brand, and stylish. Also, I have to agree with the others that your editing and video filming is impeccable.

Hello :) I’m new to new balance shoes but I did try these 996’s on today at REI but since these are so hard to find on sale do you feel like any of the other new balances have the same comfort as the 996? I also tried on the 574’s and I felt like they were stiff and cheap feeling not much conformity to the foot. What other styles can you recommend for all day wear?

I have these in light blue but the grey with white laces looks better if I'm being honest. They're just a well put together beautiful trainers. 👌 👍
997, 577, 998, 1400, 1300, 996, 992. In that order. Colorblocking takes priority over silhouette for me though.
