It’s kinda amazing that lore wise, she’s supposed to investigate the Myth girls of Hololive but, ended up becoming one herself. It’s the gag of her being the only human on a team of an Atlantean Shark, a Reaper, a Phoenix, and Eldritch Horror. Amelia is a human, but still a mythical being known as a time traveler. Or time lord? 😂

I feel like Ame's delivery of the "Tell them I died" line was so on point. To me, Ame can be a pretty good voice actor, but only with some more practice

I mean Ame IS and amazing voice actor but a lot of times the script writing on these are kinda of "talent adjacent" on the EN side, like look at the lines in the UmiSea shorts they feel kind of awkward and stiff even though Gura can consistently knock it out of the park.
In the Smol Adventures that Ame put out her channel, she wrote the script for it and everyone's lines were so damn on point. There's definitely a little bit of disconnect from talent to management on the little things that make all the difference, I think.

@@dhdragon555 Yup, the most troublesome aspect of VA is getting accurate and helpful directions: there's so many different ways to say a line, the hardest part of VA is making sure both the director and the VA understand each others - something that's particularly difficult when there's a language barrier and a cultural gap between the two, and not enough time in the studio to get everything sorted.
An experienced VA isn't just good at making different voices, they also know what sort of delivery would fit well for a piece and will instinctively provide the few most-likely-to-be-validated takes, without having to be redirected over and over by the director - they often know more about voice acting than them. A veteran VA also knows what a director actually wants when they say "can it be more like this? or that?". Things like "more cheerful" actually meaning "more motivated"; "quieter this time ?" actually meaning "more hesitant speech pattern", etc.

Ame needs to build up more confidence with her voice. It will help her not just with VA work, but also singing.
That said, Ame's greatest strength is her creativity and her natural magnetism. Wouldn't have her trade that for anything.
