I think the being misunderstood thing is a built in protection mechanism that is there on purpose. We can be acquaintances with many but few are going to match up with the quiet power we have within us. And those that do are meant to be there in a more intimate and deeper way. There is nothing wrong with the other, but I totally keep it superficial, and that’s fine. But I can almost recognize right away when a deeper person of more substance crosses the threshold in my life.
They work double-time to try getting a read. It often feels like people try to stop us in our tracks to ‘figure us out’ I also notice the double entendre’s they do, trying to see if they can act in ways that influence our behavior. It’s impossible because we aren’t living in the same realm.
