I admire anyone up to the challenge to build their own plane. 👍
Nice work Ben.
Like the 0200.
Hello from Hammond la I’ve always loved the looks of the kitfox. Looks like a real good build You have it under control Enjoy
Gotta love a cool kitfox👍
Looks like a high quality build. I have talked with Ben and he is a great guy. I’ve got an O-200 powered Kitfox (I did not build it) that I’ve enjoyed for 4 years and I’m sure Ben will really enjoy his airplane.
Sweet! Looking forward to seeing him fly this year as well.
Flags on the tips are Awesome!
I love all things Kitfox! A beautiful plane that I will never be able to afford. But hey, there's always the Afordaplane!
Great video. I love a Kitfox. Ben is building a very nice example!
I have always loved the Kitfox, and dreamed of owning one some day. Then a Challenger 2 came available, and, well, here I am with one of those instead. No regrets. But I do make my Challenger 2 jealous by looking longingly at every Kitfox I see. Cheers from Winnipeg.
Nice project and video.👍🏽
Love your Channel. Especially this episode as I'm starting on a Kitfox Series 7.
Thanks for sharing.
Love the 0-200! I'd take a small hit in performance for the old school reliability.
Sweet!!!
I want one , my KR2 was a bit more confined .
Hi, Bryan.
Reid from South Africa.
I'm interested as to why he set the sweep of the wings at 0⁰? I would have expected 1⁰ forward, to get the centre of lift a little forward, as he has the heavier engine . Ben, can you chime in, please?
Great, informative build interview.
Thank you.
Hello, the factory no longer recommends the forward sweep for heavier engines. They rather use ballast now. It’s fine either way but if the sweep is zero then I imagine it would be simpler to switch to a lighter engine if someone chooses to do so in the future.
is it possible to buy just the kitfox plan and build the thing from scratch?
is it constant or fixed pitch propeller?
per his description of the single adjustment screw that moves all 3 blades simultaneously I would infer that it is fixed, but ground adjustable. also no blue knob on the panel.
You will beg for more power very soon.

Thanks Martin. Appreciate you support.
