Hi everyone 🤗Hope you enjoy episode 10! If you love this series as much as I do, give the video a thumbs up for more 👍🏽Love you all and thanks as always for checking out this video ❤️
So obsessed with this series. To me, heat trained/damage is the same as using a relaxer to break up the protein bonds. As long as you are responsible and use heat in a controlled way (once every 2 weeks, no touch ups in between), do treatments in between, you can still grow it long like you proved here
Loooove olaplex. It’s a game changer. I use no2 as a pre poo and sometimes I put some of it in any deep conditioning treatment to increase the benefits. The only problem about olaplex is the price.
I had to chuckle to myself cause when she was opening the package and saying how she was waiting for it to come in, her cat sat next to her and looked like “ooooh girl, what is it.? I can’t wait to see what it is.”
I was having itch scalp this past week as well. I'm natural, my hair has been loc'd for about 1 1/2 now. I have become a bit more lazy due to the low maintenance/high convenience of loc'd hair. When I tell you that Jane Carter leave-in spray and Tropical Rootz oil spray on my scalp worked a miracle! Giirrrlll!!! Hydration is an absolute MUST! I'm a beautician so I know and understand the importance of hydration and hair maintenence but I also understand the effects of a hectic schedule and tiredness. But our hair continues to show us love and grow as long as we don't neglect it for long. Be sure to use a heat protectant for your hair. I'm sure you do though!
I loveeeeeee Olaplex no 3 because I do use heat on my hair weekly without the blow dryer. It really repairs your hair and rebuilds the protein bonds in the hair. You can notice a difference after the first use. It has a lot of sulphur which is the building block of our hair. I ALWAYS repurchase it but you have to shampoo and condition after using it.
I’m a natural girl who also likes to straighten my hair every now and then. I try to keep it curly as often as possible to keep it healthy but lately I’ve been wanting to straighten it. This video inspired me to figure out when the last time I straightened it was, and it was in JANUARY!!! I can’t believe I’ve gone that long! I used to have my hair straight all the time so this is just crazy for me. Maybe this week or next week I’ll have time to straighten it again
I'm dealing with heat and color damage. I've been natural since 2013; last year in Sept., I decided to color and straighten my hair. My curls haven't been the same. I miss then so much. I've been protective styling non-stop and when I take one down I give my hair some serious TLC. I don't know how I'm going to get my curls back. Even though my hair has grown a lot, some of my curls are limp. What can I do?
Love these series! 😍 my setback happened in high school when I knew nothing about how damaging heat was because I got my hair heat trained all my life, but I started to put heat on my hair everyday to look cute for some boy 🙄 by the end of the year 6 inches had to be cut off
It's called Kareco. You can find it on Amazon. I bought it after I saw her using it a year ago. It's the BEST detangling brush EVER. I don't lose any hair with it.
What kinda of flat iron do you have, meaning Ceramic or Titanium? I made the mistake of using titanium and it damaged my hair so bad because the plates get hotter than the ceramic apparently and I didn't know that until someone told me. So I was just wondering what you used.
Edge of Confusion what heat setting did you use? If you use a really low heat setting like in the 300s it doesn’t cause damage like it will in the 400 range. But your hair will still get straight with one pass.

heynowhey likely protein treatments and making sure your hair stays properly moisturized and maintained.
I love that these videos are so realistic, no one has time to do a full on wash and go to slay every day 😂😂 love you girl!

Rivy O How often do you use the Olaplex No 3?
gemruby41 1x a week when I prepoo
Rivy O thank you
Love these week in my hair videos 💜👌🏽
I use the Jane Carter wrap lotion too! The Design Essential foam is great as well. I use it to lay my edges a tip I learned from lipstickandcurls. 🧡
I don’t flat iron my hair unless I’m getting a trim but I do blow dry my hair. I will give this olaplex a try. Thank you for sharing.
Your growth is crazy!
Thanks for sharing as always!! Can you do some current makeup tutorials?

Renee Brown maybe time for a big chop?
JerichaG92
Maybe. I was waiting for my orignal big chop date to do it. Just letting it grow as much as possible until then. 😄
heynowhey give me some tips then, no need to roll eyes. 😂
The aphogee strengthening kit helped me!
My hair is still recovering from heat damage. I use hot oil treatments and Aphogee products.
Do you ever wear wash and go’s? Big curly would look amazing on you ✨
Does kitty Evo wants his hair washed too

I need to try olaplex!
After the Olaplex, you didn’t shampoo and condition?
I shampooed before using the Olaplex, then rinsed it out and followed it up with a regular conditioner 😊

My hair has started to frizz up ALL THE TIME! Please let me know if you have some suggestions. Also, what color is that on your nails?
I love this series! What’s the name of the brush you were using to detangle your hair?
