Series Synopsis:
Merisvaldo Diocreisson, or MD as he was known by his friends, was twenty-five years old and had a promising career as an engineer. He lived in a big city, far from his homeland, where he had graduated and got a good job. But everything changed when he received the news that his grandfather had passed away and left him land in the interior. MD didn't have much connection with his grandfather, but he felt he had to go there to resolve the issue of documentation and a land boundary problem. He thought it would be a quick trip, just to fulfill a formality. But he didn't expect what awaited him in the small town. Upon arriving, he was greeted by his childhood friend, who was now the city's mayor, Meio Kilo. The outline that the city was undergoing a major transformation, after having faced an economic crisis that caused the old port to close and many people to lose their jobs. Now, there was a project to build a thermoelectric plant in the region, which would bring development and opportunities to the residents. And the mayor had a proposal for the MD: he wanted him to be responsible for the design and construction of the plant. It would be a chance to do something important and reconnect with your roots. He told himself he was prepared for this.
