Thanks Chris, happy to hear the run down of takings, I was interested to see how you did with the boots so disappointed to see you didn't sell them at a huge profit, but hey, what price keeping Christine warm and happy ! 😉 I know you said it didn't affect the operation of the scales but I'd be interested to hear your tips you have on cleaning up battery terminals after leaks. Leaking batteries are a bug-bear and although often it wipes or brushes off or can be removed with a fibre-glasss contact cleaner or even a pencil eraser I'd be keen to hear any other advice you have !
Thanks Andy. Vinegar is a good method of cleaning up the corrosion. I'll address that next time on video 👍😊 Always happy to spend a dollar on Christine! 🤣🤣
I like all aspects of your videos. Finding, sorting, buying, selling, cleaning, scrapping, fixing, re-using, recycling, listing etc.! The large colander looks like something your girls might be interested in. It appears to be a commercial size to me.
Hi Chris, I love the lists, they let us know what is moving and I am rethinking the items I would normally just toss and replace. All the content is great and educational, a sausage roll maker, who would have thought.😄A great gift for the person who has everything.
I find the review of past weeks lists very informative, i.e. what sells, how fast and at what price. I'm fascinated by what motivates others buying secondhand. Chris, your videos are too short! They are not long enough for me to prepare my lunch and enjoy it. I have to fill my time leaving "Likes" and writing comments😂💙
Not sure if you saw ewaste Ben recently but manhari is buying ewaste now. Not sure if it would be worth your time taking it when you do a larger scrap metal run but thought it was worth mentioning.
I did see that Mike, but given I have limited room (weight limits) in the old van, and it's a three hour return trip ewaste isn't viable to take there.
I'm sure someone will tell you to clean the blue battery corrosion off with vinegar, not IPA. The blue is a "salt" and you need an "acid" to neutralize it 👍 A lucky haul!
@@TheUltimateRecycler not soaked, just the tip of a cloth basically oil removes oil - for the inside though the other methods mentioned, and yours, work too. and it might soften the discoloured burnt on external carbons too.
I enjoy the lists but maybe only go back by a couple of weeks? Going through every week will be hard to sustain if you are able to keep this going every week.

Keep the what you sell segment. I would like to see it in the storage shed clean out as well.
Second
Yeah, maybe I should at least go through the previous couple of weeks.. 👍😊

@@TheUltimateRecycler 😂
Nice haul Chris. The fan controllers will work on most ceiling fans, older style of remote though.
Thanks Dave. Yep, they do look a bit dated. If they don't sell in the shop, I'll dump the lot on eBay 👍😊
Keep what you sell segment in. I would like to see it in the storage shed clean out as well.
Thanks Bruce, I'll see what I can do 👍😊
I love the lists, the follow up is great. Thanks for the great content.
Thanks Graeme 👍😊
Definitely keep the sold list, great vids. Thanks
Thanks Eddie, will do 👍😊
The sold/unsold list is great! Definitely worth keeping.
Thanks ARC! 👍😊
The update sell lists are great, I like seeing the results and your thought process on moving products. Christine seems to like your finds as well
Christine & my daughters get first pick of all of my finds! Thanks Faye 😊👍
@ Happy to be adopted to the family.

Thanks Dee. Yes - I should check with the girls! Good thought 😀👍
I heat up sandwich makers and similar devices. Put 3 or 4 pieces of really wet paper towel inside and like stream cleaning them, cheers Graham
That's a good idea Graham, I'll have to try that 👍😊
I like the sold lists, ❤😂
Thanks Gayle 👍😊

Thanks Judi, I appreciate the feedback! It seems like the lists are staying! 👍😀 - unlike the sausage roll maker! 🤣
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Cynthia 😊👍
Greatly enjoying all your videos.. keep up the good work 👍
Thanks B&B 👍😀
More great useful freebies. I like this series just as it is, don't change anything Chris. That $1 colander was a super pick-up. 👍
Thanks Alex! 😊👍

Haha, leaving "likes" & comments are perfectly acceptable activities Dudley! 😉😀
As you have the recieve end to those remotes they could be repurposed to switch other things, not just ceiling fans..
Ah, that's interesting! Thanks John! 👍😊
Lol i was going to say you can twist the pins to fit in the socket..
I knew someone would say that Graham! 🤣🤣

Thanks Dave, Yes that's a better method!
use baby oil to clean the pie maker
Just wipe it out with a cloth soaked in baby oil HP? I haven't heard of this method..

I'm another that enjoys the what's sold list. Who doesn't like a list
I agree Ed, lists are great! 😀👍
Making sausage rolls with Coco?
She would have loved it Geoff! 😀

Yes true - although after a few weeks the sales should be complete, or at least close to it 😊
