Madball has been an inspiration for me since i was a freshman in high school. Playing with them was 1 of my proudest moments. Freddy is a great dude and I'm happy they are still ripping shit up. I last seen them in Brooklyn in the summer. Can't wait to see them again

I've seen Madball live about 5 or 6 times in Athens, Greece and the crowd is always insane and like a fist on the same time. Madball deserves much more and I'm not talking about "quanity", I'm talking about anthousiasm and appreciation. Don't want to insult anyone in personal here but the general reaction is almost sad.

@@gahfeen Rick Ta Lyfe's death is a heartbreaking moment that shapes the course of hardcore history. The scene begins when Rick Ta Lyfe's brother Madball hatches a plan to become king. He creates a dangerous wildebeest stampede and puts young RTL Jr in its path.
Rushing to his son's aid, Rick Ta Lyfe fearlessly dives into the stampede, managing to save RTL Jr but unfortunately being swept back into the rush of wildebeests. He struggles to climb the steep wall of the gorge and reaches a ledge where Madball is standing.
In a heart-wrenching act of betrayal, Madball refuses to help his brother. Instead, he digs his claws into Rick Ta Lyfe's paws, utters the phrase "Long live the king," and flings Rick Ta Lyfe back into the stampede, causing his death. This devastating event marks a turning point in hardcore history, leading to RTL Jr's exile and his eventual journey to reclaim his rightful throne.
