You have by far the best video on steering wheel shakes when braking on all of RUclips.. I'm gonna try everything you mentioned and let you know what it is! I know it's not my rotors because i just got a new set and nothing changed! Thanks so much for this!
You do an amazing job at explaining everything detail but also further explaining for the people who don’t know as much about cars! Thank you!!! Liked and subscribed:)☑️
Vibrations will make a DIYer... I'm thinking about everything man cuz I replaced wheel bearings sway bar end links tires one caliber rotor and pads because I thought that was the vibration cuz it didn't happen. When I first did the repairs on the wheel bearings and stuff it was fine and then now it's starting a vibration. At 55 one of the calipers had frozen slide pins so I thought that was the issue fixed it still happening my mechanic at work. Thanks. It's the other side because that side is frozen. Don't know if that's possible or he said check if all my voltage height on the CV axle what about maybe too much anti seize in between the wheel and the hub assembly... Or the person didn't balance the tires right? Or it's the rear rotors? I don't know. I'm going crazy. It could be the break hoes that's really old. I didn't replace it. I need to. I bought it. I haven't got to it yet
Good video. I learn something new when I watch videos about a lot of things. Our Toyota Sienna van has a slight shaking in the steering wheel around 65 MPH. Not bad at all but it's there. I'm thinking it could be the tires so I'll try rotating them and see if that helps. If not I'll move on to some the other issues you mentioned. Thanks for the info.
One last thing on one of the wheel bearings. I replaced all three of the bolts on the other side and they're all torqued too except for one bolt round it off on the left front and I couldn't torque it but I did try to tighten it. I tightened it first with my impact so that's decent and then I cranked on it a little but it wouldn't let me to work it. I really don't want to have to take the sway bar and link off caliper bracket and CV axle out again just to replace that bolt and torque it but that could be the culprit but it wasn't doing it at first like I said but it could have loosened up. I also put loctite on them and I regularly checked it and it feels tight but obviously it could back out a little and I wouldn't be able to tell with my fingers very possible. I ordered all new page and rotors. Debating just smashing a 9/16 until that 15 mm then just torquing it on there and then beat the socket off after. But I still have to take the CV out to fit socket on bolt
I got a new break pad and rotor last month then it stopped shaking for a month and started again then I replaced break rotor and pad under warranty again. It stopped for for a month and back again .last year I have replaced ci Control arms and rod and 6 months back I have replaced right suspension. I went to multiple mechanics and dealership and issue still persist. Any clue
Hi, I have a 2015 Honda Accord bought brand new from honda dealer. I replaced my front brake pads and rotors less than 2 years ago and never replace the rear pads or rotors. Recently, my steering wheel vibrates when braking at highway speed(80 mph). What could be the cause? Thanks.

If you put new sway bar end links on in the front and they are too tight, you think it could cause brake vibrations?
Great video, cheers pal 👍

Hi,

Hi.
Shakes only when you press the brake? If so, your brake rotors are warped and need to be replaced.
how there is outer spec run out on the wheel hub.@@MechanicBase
Hey I have 2016 Camry my steering wheel shakes when I brake or go over a bump do you think you know what that could be
