Hi Gab, thank you so much for playing The Painscreek Killings! Reflecting back when we released TPK as our first game, we didn't know anything about marketing nor how to promote the game. It resulted in only 50 people buying TPK in the first week of release. We were so devastated at that time after 5 years of development. But because of so many players and streamers support, we could survive and are able to develop our 2nd game, Scene Investigators now. Thank you so much for picking up our title for your stream!
It's an excellent game, I've been trying to find something with the same vibe since I found it and I'm really looking forward to Scene Investigations! Sorry to hear that such an excellent game went so unoticed!

1:32:02 I completely agree, I am adopted and I was the 6th out of 7 kids my mom had. All of my half siblings were taken away by CPS due to her drug use. She ended up going to jail when she was 4 months pregnant with me because she was found with drugs in her system and on her. She didn’t get out until I was 3 months old so she had to start planning my adoption since my father wasn’t in the picture. It’s not always the parents fault either. I do wish my mom had not done drugs at the time but I also do realize it was an addiction she had since she was a teenager and it’s very hard to quit. She also most likely wouldn’t have been able to take care of me even if I wasn’t adopted. Often, when I get stuck on these sorts of games, instead of reading a guide or trying to search and somehow avoid spoilers, I will simply find a blind playthrough and watch for a while until the person I'm watching gives me an idea for how to progress. In the case of Painscreek, I didn't know you could get to the hospital, so I played for quite a while, doing as much as I could, before poking around RUclips to find a playthrough to watch to get some ideas. (I'll come back and watch the rest once I'm caught up!) This is a long and convoluted way of telling you that _I played this game for six hours and until 30 minutes into this video, I had no idea there was a ghost._ :') I have just been collecting clues totally oblivious, going, "Weird how the music in this game is occaisionally just spooky for no reason!" Running around Painscreek playing the idiot who gets killed in a horror movie because they just don't believe there's anything spooky going on.
This game, as a whole, reminds me of my favorite mission in Morrowind. You find this Big labyrinth of tunnels filled with different numbered chests and no keys for them... Then you find One key, attached to it a number. There are some thirty chests, and each one has a different key for a different chest. You go from chest to chest to chest, tirelessly searching the tunnels and Eventually opening that final chest for a Quite worth while weapon. Just, in this game, you keep getting a key for a new place with a key to a new place with a new key for a new place, with a great mystery, and I LOVE IT!

I played some of this game but I got so lost and confused on what to do, hopefully I can use this video for a guide, Gab. I'm happy to see you checking this out.
I remember playing this game for the first time and I wish I could like wipe my memory of it and play it again. It was probably the best detective game I've ever played just for the ambience alone and the ending.
I got TPK as part of a bundle and decided to play it one day. Not my normal type of game but I couldn’t stop playing! I took so many notes and it took me two days…I missed a few small things but finished it and now I want more!
i actually watched the gameplay of this by someone else long ago and absolutely loved it! And this is the first time i'm rewatching a gameplay only because i love this game and because Gab is playing it! Ah the nostalgia!
I like this, the tinkling piano music is very reminiscent of Scratches as are the footsteps. You can clearly see the influence here and that's no bad thing.
I'm not normally one to buy a game based on watching someone play it but this one was an exception for me. I'm excited for more parts of this and to explore it on my own.
I've had this game in my Steam library for a while now, intending to play it at some point, and finally took the plunge yesterday when I was looking for something to watch and saw this in my saved Watch Later videos. 👀🔎 Wanted to play through it myself before I spoiled anything, and it's been a blast! These games scratch a particular itch I have; a beautiful whodunit that's super well written and engaging. I'm quite happy now that I can watch you start to work through it, Gab~! (I somehow never realized you could get onto the roof like that! Dang.)
started watching.... then realised I had to stop and go play this one myself first. just finished the game and WOW!!!!! Now i can't wait to watch Gab's playthrough and see how it all goes. :D
Oh god, I'm so excited! I was hoping you or CJU had played it since it seemed like something you both would like, but a quick channel search showed that neither of you had played it. And now here you go. I'm bouncing in my chair right now.
I played this game with my partner spectating last October; we were investigating the hospital and he had just looked up a guide to see if there were any jumpscares. He told me no, there weren't. Two minutes later, I'm walking out of the one area with the doctor's keycard and WHAM the lights all go out. I think I about busted his eardrum screaming in fright. It's a really good game, though. I wish there were more like it, honestly, though it looks like the studio that made this is making another game that's in the same vein of investigating murders. Have fun and good luck with the mystery, Gab!
I grew up on the Nancy Drew series and this is my favorite game of all time!!! So excited to see you playing 😍🥰 I hope you enjoy it half as much as I do!

Wow! It sure takes me back. I played it when I was a teen and it awoke the detective inside of me
(I also found this game so relaxing I used to play videos of its gameplay to sleep whenever I had insomnia lol)
Thank you gabby for playing these games on behalf of ppl with anxiety. I could never 😭
I played some of this game but I got so lost and confused on what to do, hopefully I can use this video for a guide, Gab. I'm happy to see you checking this out.
I remember playing this game for the first time and I wish I could like wipe my memory of it and play it again. It was probably the best detective game I've ever played just for the ambience alone and the ending.
OMG! Enjoy Gab - playing this was one of my favourite murder / mystery experiences. Total gem.
That whole video and not a single ad, that was pleasant.
I can't believe you're finally playing this game, it's amazing, I'm so excited!!!
I loved this game! I'm so excited to see you playing it
I got TPK as part of a bundle and decided to play it one day.
The edit of it zooming in along with the piano music at 17:33 made me laugh. Good editing
Yeeees you're finally playing this!! I played this years ago, it's so different and so much fun!!
Watched this whole stream live but had to come back and rewatch the moment we saw the girl watching us from the woods, one of my favourites!!
I like this, the tinkling piano music is very reminiscent of Scratches as are the footsteps. You can clearly see the influence here and that's no bad thing.
one of my favourite games in the world, it's so underrated. The atmosphere of it is absolutely unmatched
gab: why is it scary 🥺😇
also gab: **why is it spicy** 👺👹
35:41 *door lock noise* me and Gab at the same time: “waka waka”
12:35

Gab time before I have to go to class is my fav, starts off my day with ✨serotonin✨
Finally some free time to watch this! And right off the bat, Evelien is being the absolute cutest little bean
I'm not normally one to buy a game based on watching someone play it but this one was an exception for me. I'm excited for more parts of this and to explore it on my own.
Gab almost makes horror games not scary, but they're still unnerving
Omg Gab! This is one of my favorite games, I absolutely love the idea of an open world mystery! I'm so happy to see you playing it.
Oh my god…yes CJU playing this would be so good too!
I've been subscribed to Jack's channel for prolly 50 years, preface. I've recently started really getinng into Gab's content. I like to look up origins or artists I like, so naturally I finally decided to look up Gabs'. My biggest takaway here is that Gab is freaking jacking and that's awesome!
Oooh! I love this game so much and I'm glad to see you playing it. I wish I could find more like this one, it was so good. 🥺
I absolutely love this game. The puzzles are so deep
The music gives courage the cowardly dog vibes and I'm here for it. I love watching you play horror games.
This story is pretty well crafted. It feels like a Poirot.
This game looks good. I watched another RUclipsr play it a few years ago but didn't see the end. I love watching your playthroughs 😊❤️
Absolutely obsessed with watching you play this game, can’t wait for the next part and hopefully can catch the stream so I won’t have to wait for the video! 😁💜
So glad you played this! I played it years ago shortly after it was released. It was SO GOOD! EQ Studios does some amazing work! :D
Absolutely LOVE this game, a great detective experience.
Glad you're playing it :)
Gab - I love your channel and everything you do, your content is always so great and relaxing!
Such a captivating game! I had never heard of it. Looking forward to the rest of the series. :)
the way she reacts to the game saying to take notes arount 10 seconds in, is the cutest thing i have seen in while lol
This is such a feel-good channel, I love that I found my way here! ❤️
I'm really enjoying this! Can't wait for more!
Ahhh so hyped that you’re playing this!! I literally looked it up when I finished this game cause I wanted to see you play it so badd. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did
I can’t help but laugh every time she opens or closes a drawer now 😂
OMG IM SO HAPPY YOU ARE PLAYING THIS GAME!! Wish you the best Gabs, stay safe and have fun!
I've started playing this after I saw the thumbnail and got curious. I'm a few hours in now, so figured it was safe to at least see the first episode. And I gotta say... This game is creepy as all hell. It's definitely one of the better games like it, so far. Got a long way to go, I feel like, still.
I'm so into this! Perfect mystery game! Can't wait for more!
"I don't think I've ever been this nosy" Girl you play Nancy Drew, you have been twice as nosy XD
