He reps ALL of Polynesia whether it's by blood or the love he feels. I've always claimed Hawaii and the Hawaiian way of life because Nanakuli, HI raised me but my blood ties are to Samoa. We learned the true meaning if family and community FROM Hawaii.

I got chicken skin as we saw in Hawaii.
Easily his best performance of the season. For a couple minutes he turned the show from a competition into a concert, not to mention the crowd was chanting his name after he finished. So awesome to see his efforts paid off.

I think Kolohe Kai frontman Roman De Peralta said he wrote this song when he was Iam’s age, and he’s open to collaborating with him too. If they can make it happen, I’d love to see what they can come up with.

Full version by @kolohekai But really,check out so many of the Hawaiian/Polynesian artists that have songs and jams that the rest of the world hasn't been exposed too until Iam put it out there. Fiji, JBoog, Anuhea, Common Kingz, Maoli, Mana'o Company and the list goes on and on. I feel like modern "Hawaiian" music is a mix of Reggae, Country (some would say Jawaiian music....Jamaican + Hawaiian) some fast some slow. The days of Don Ho and Tiny Bubbles and the steele guitar are a thing of the past (albeit a significant one).
