I know many Samoan's tend to be larger, but it's still dangerous to carry all that extra weight. He's young and can correct the problem.

He's a great singer and I want him to be around for many more years to come not just for his ability to entertain but so he can continue to spread the joy he brings to people with his immense talent. Brother Iz passed many years ago and suffered from weight related issues for most of his final years. I pray for Ian and I hope the nervousness of being a new celebrity doesn't add more stress to his life.
I am a dialysis nurse and knowing that his dad died with kidney failure that's a worry in the back of my mind too.. I am hoping he won't have other comorbidities that will be exacerbated by his weight gain. Hope he takes care of himself..
