the need for solitude is not gone, just as the fear is not gone. just as our greed is not gone. just as hatred is never gone. they are just... manageable. the solitude is no longer all consuming, the fear is no longer soul crushing, the greed is no longer... well, it was not much of a problem before or now. the hatred is now controlled. able to be wielded as the sharpest blade, if only the player does not loose themselves in the thrill of battle.
This was probably my favorite boss in Block Tales, it's "Detachment" move is really unique, and I just like Solitude's design in general. It is a pretty good feature, having to refrain from attacking it for a few turns in order for it to not gain attack power, giving you the opportunity to heal.
personally, I attack as normal and just super guard the next attack (pretty sure it's the huge spike that's an AOE attack, aka hitting everyone in battle)
i love this song due to the breakcore, but ive always felt like breakcore never fit in with the rest of the blocktales OST. (except for greifer. greifer's the exception.) id love to hear a remix of solitude where its replaced with actual retro-drums instead of a breakcore sample (and ofc make it sound good)

wait your not supposed to hit them when they do it, no wonder they randomly gained attack for no reason

OR you can chunk it for 8 damage and give it the strongest buff in the game, effects are much easier to see in hard mode
i like to attack it anyway and just dodge the next attack since Solitudes attacks are really easy once you learn the patterns
