Where Micro Melee is about small-scale situations, Macro Melee is about understanding aspects of the game universal to all characters, or "macro" concepts.
In the second episode, we look at how stage positioning is crucial to success in all smash games. Shoutouts to Evan Oliver for helping record some clips.

My main game is Rivals of Aether and I don't play Melee much, but a lot of this analysis applies to all platform fighters regardless and I think the macro series in particular is insightful stuff. Big fan of your videos!

What if your opponents entire game plan is to give up the stage and sit by the ledge waiting for an opportunity to back throw gimp you? Taking center stage does no good and I get hit by bolts of lightning if I don't approach, and his edge guards are really solid.

I've been playing for 4 years. First two years I played Puff, second two I played Falco. I've also played a ton of Marth on the side so those are my three best characters. Probably in this order:
1. Falco
2. Marth
3. Puff
