- The Logitech M220 is a brand new portable wireless mouse that's not only affordable but it's also the first mouse in the world to receive a silent certification. It's been designed to be as silent as possible so that you can use it anywhere, even in libraries. Unfortunately the silent feature isn't as well thought out as it is advertised. Which is why I decided to review it as well! Overall though the Logitech M220 Silent is a really nice laptop mouse as it's easily portable and comfortable to hold onto.

Hi, I have just bought one of these M220 mice. It is identical to M185, except for the clicking noise. However, I cannot find any Logitech software that detects it (Connectivity Utility, Options+, SetPoint, etc.). Have you tried to connect your mouse to any Logitech software?

Thanks for the review. I think Logitech should take a different angle with their marketing of this mouse. M220 - 🐭 The Quiet Mouse (as quiet as a mouse). The problem is it is not a 'silent' mouse - the clicks are quiet but not silent. Silent means NO sound. Also, according to other reviews, the wheel is not silent or even quiet. Other than the misleading marketing, the mouse seems cool though - simple and compact.
I don't own one but I am interested. But I have a question. When the 220 goes into sleep mode to save the battery, does it instantly wake up when you bump the mouse (like my old Logitech M557) or, like a few mice I have tried recently, do you have to click on it and wait a second or two for it to wake up before it responds?
In M220 silent I bought recently: you only need to move it, and it's a tiny delay until it wakes up, so you lose a few mm of initial hand movement.
Would be very helpful if you compared the clicking loudness to other mice. At least a second, regular mouse next to this one, and click on one, then the other, to help us hear the difference.
you couldve stopped at "mice".. and everyone would still understand what you meant.
Do the buttons feel weird because of the silence?
i lost the receiver of this mouse, is it available to be bought on its own?
can i use the mouse without using the usb receiver? like if i wanna use it on my tablet?
No, it's not Bluetooth so you can only use it with the receiver

Would get a better mouse for gaming (btw I have had this mouse for a year) I would save a couple bucks and get the razor viper mini, just a recommendation.

idk if u will see this but i game with it everyday im using it to right this iv had it for 3 moth and it still had life
still have it it amazing battery lasts forever get it it was cheap too
