I had to look it up, if someone need it in the future, the stat value passed on from raw stats is calculaed like this: [first slot weapon atk: 200], [second slot weapon lvl 1 atk: 75] -> it passes on exactly half of it (rounded down): 200 + 37 = 237, so the [result weapon would have 237 atk] (if all other factors are optimal), but if you level the second slot weapon to level 10, and it would have 100 atk by now, it still only considers it base stat value as it was on level 0! It would still pass on only 37 atk if you fuse it away, so its of no use to level up the weapon, as it has no influence on the stat strength which is passed on, only the count of them!

Thankfully after seeing this, I have a good understanding for item fusion within this game and can't wait to get my hands on it on my Switch ^w^.

@JRPGFanatic may i ask? in net, there are people said that we have to increase the sacrifice items to item level 10. how can we grind item level efficiently? for the sacrifice monster, on what level minimum must we use for safe & efficient fusion?
I really hope you do more content not just leave another month again yeah we know we are human r busy with our life and also working so we can't force them do to more content but I still love your video keep up the good work
I'm planning on releasing a few more La Pucelle videos. Then next week I'm going to revisit Granado Espada, another favorite from my younger MMO years. I'm not sure what's after that but I'm interested in trying out Dusk Diver 2 to see if it's improved at all. And Square Enix has Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean 6, Diofield Chronicle, Tactics Ogre Remaster, DQ Treausre that I'm really looking forward to. No shortage of content, I just need to stop slacking 🙃
Why does my lv 20 family jewels refuse to get more than +30 even infusing more family jewels? It DID before or how else would it have gone from 20 to 30?
I've been trying to fuse stat levellers (elevate atk....) but no matter what I do it only transfers 3 out of the 4 stat levellers an elevate Atk has, is this normal???? Also you forgot to add to your guide that there is an extra aspect, which is the additional effect. You can stack additional effects like Purification, poison, sleep....
Also do you plan on doing a beginner guide vid for this game?? Equipment guide would be nice too! Just realized that you could Equip anything to any slot, so what's the best gear to equip??
I won't be doing a guide or tips video since I don't have anything to share. I will be releasing a generic gameplay mechanics video on Saturday but that's more for people who have never played the game to show how to play. As for equipment, if you want to rush, just buy the strongest ATK items and put them on Priere. Upgrade as you get more money and it should get you through most of the game. Otherwise I would buy a bunch of raise/elevate items to fuse into a "trainer" item to raise all those stats. As those secondary stats level, you learn new passives which are helpful. (Move increase, normal attack power buff, crit buff, etc). Leveling items through purification will make your equipment stronger. One of the early stages, Hall of the Dead is perfect for setting up large miracle chains for power leveling items.
best beginner tip is to try to slowly get an item that has at least one of each stat boost on it to slowly get all those skills while you get better gear built up for primary party members. :) (I end up using Prier, Cullote, Eclair and Croix as my main members by endgame--small team focused building) I tend to go super slow at these games though, so video does at least help show some idea of how to get quicker flow going too, once able. :)
I'm not sure I understand the monster part of the weapon fusion. If I have two weapons with 100 attack power, my goal would be to combine them to make a single weapon with 200 attack power. At least that's what I'm gathering from this. However, it sounds like you can't create an item with the full combined amount of 200 attack power if the monster you use doesn't have a base attack power of at least 200? Is that right? If that's the case, how do you even get a monster with base stats like that? Leveling up is so slow in this and I feel like I'd need to have a really high level monster to accomplish this.
That's correct. Besides leveling up, you can also wait till later in the game to recruit higher level monsters. You can also raise enemy levels in the rosenqueen shop by doing surveys. Enemy stats also vary so you need to purify one that fit your needs. For instance, Bears, Boxes, whales, will typically have the highest atk. Also just a minor note, if you combine 2 swords with 100 atk each, it won't be 200, it'll probably be around like 150 or something since it only absorbs a percentage (I never bothered to check the exact amount).
probably the bear or shrooms but level matters more than anything. I always use Haniwas because of their higher stats and it's easier to find them at high levels in the Dark World though it does require some work to get.

i'm still struggling, i've beaten the game 4 times and i can't go after stronger enemies

That's normal, you get diminishing returns.
