The best thing about watching Ryan's videos is how patient he is with the men working for him and that he's always happy to share his wealth of knowledge with them. I've never heard this man raise his voice to one of his labourers. Respect from the UK from a fellow bricklayer.

With thick stone like that you should wet that poly 3 different times. Hit it once nicely then wait about 5 minutes and repeat and then once again. Otherwise the water does not seep down all the way down the joint so you end up with just a thin hard layer on top that will not last long and crack. That’s my experience I ran into and an old timer taught me that.

Great job your back must be hurting after that one
I’m in the uk when we have no slab lifter available our slabs come with a plastic banding around the pack of slabs to hold the slabs together in transit not sure if you have the same where you are but the plastic banding comes in very handy for placing heavy slabs down without trapping your fingers and is easily pulled out from under the slab once in place
    Hope this helps 👍
