I don't think that desk as a background does justice to those colours. They look way better on the website with the white background. I hope there'll be some purple ones left when my pen budget allows. Me thinks it'll look well pretty with some matching ink in it.
I usually prefer silver trim on a pen and yellow is far from my favourite colour, but I'll admit that there's just something about that last pen.. Glad that Narwhal/Nahvalur are finally looking into making EF nibs too!
I would add buyer beware. I have several Narwhals and I have an original Yellow Tang and a Porpita Navy which the cap cracked on both. They have now added a cap band which I assume is to rectify the issue. I emailed customer service at Narwhal concerning this and they requested pictures which I sent. Since that request and response there has been nothing but silence from Narwhal customer service. I even included the new customer service email from the name change. I believe it was a design flaw or quality control issue. Just wanted to let you know what you may be getting with the pen and the level of customer service Narwhal or Nahvular provides to their customer base.
nice! ima fan of the brand. i've got five of their pens in my collection. really love each one. Recently snagged the Dragonet Sapphire with the rose gold nib and appointments. gorgeous resin and the nib is one hell of a smooth writer.

aww the purple is disappointingly not purple enough. I want one so bad and I'm debating buying one :O
I also really want a twsbi stub in jade :P
Great review, I love Vac fillers. Any idea when you'll be getting the stub nibs?
