So sorry to hear you have had to start all over again on RUclips, but I'm happy to be here for the start of the next chapter. Have loved your videos for a long time (and lucky enough to have had my music featured before). Wish you all the best with this new channel! ❤
Thanks for the love Nicky!! Yeah, it's far from ideal and I obviously would have preferred it to just continue with the main channel, but in the current condition it's just not working. It's not how I would have loved it, but well, you gotta do something, and I'm glad I'm doing. It's good to get content out again, and I'm convinced the right people will find out about the new channel at some point :) thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!
Autumn Chill: a moody Indie Folk playlist, for fans of Hazlett, Hollow Coves and Old Sea Brigade 🍂 Enjoy 3 hours of songs perfect for the autumn season, enjoy the rain and watch the leaves fall. This video is part of the Moody Indie Folk series, previous volume: ruclips.net/video/mCPhKTK7PqM/видео.html | Tracklist: 0:00 Hollow Coves - Milk & Honey - Alternate Version We wanted to remind people that it’s important to remember the things that matter most. To remind people to choose to look for the silver linings. To make the most out of what we’ve got. To see that there is beauty all around us. 3:54 Days of August - Postcards - Alternative Version This song is about a relationship that did not last, the pov is a person wandering what happened and why the other person left. 7:49 Old Sea Brigade - If You Had to Ask This song took me 5 years to finish. I can’t type out a meaning for you because I’m still discovering it myself, but I hope it speaks to you in whatever way you welcome it. 11:28 Swimmingly - Hide This song is about finding that someone. That someone who takes all the parts you hate about yourself, and makes them seem beautiful. It's about being that someone to someone else. The warmth in each others arms through the dark cold winters. 14:05 Rod Coote - By the Coastline This song is about finding a home by the coast with someone you love. 18:10 Hazlett - Do You Haunt Me ‘Someone once told me healing isn’t linear. Like all good advice though it’s a tough thing to remember when you’re going through it. There’ll be dead ends, there’ll be mistakes and there will be plenty of advice from the sidelines along the way. But this was just a little ode to still attempt to remind myself for every step that feels backwards, in the grand scheme of things it’s actually a profound lunge forward to where we need to be. Even when it doesn’t feel like it.’ 21:21 Brophy - All That I Am This song is about longing. Brophy takes you on a heart-wrenching journey through the complexity of love, then calls you home to come to terms with it all. 25:24 Dave Thomas Junior - Ashes This song is about imagining it slipping through your fingers a millions times and then it actually happens. 28:06 I Shiver - Shelter This song is about finally feeling home with a person. 30:50 Hunter Metts - Don't Fail Me Now This song about a significant other falling short of the expectations - emphasizing the feeling of having to sit with the pain of the relationship rather than feeling nothing at all. 33:31 Chan Fuze - Palm This song is about a giving your heart away to someone who won’t see you. There’s a profound sense of loneliness when your love isn’t acknowledged so in turn it burns you. This is the price we pay for love. 38:56 Thomas LaVine - Maybe There's Something There This song is about the push and pull between two people unable to see eye to eye when it comes to their worldview. 42:56 Cole Scheifele, Raquel Norland - Back to Me This song is about the process of losing someone and the difficult journey of coming to a place of acceptance, but part of you through it all always hopes they will find their way back to you. 46:52 Luca Aprile - California The lyrics, taken from my own life, capture my feelings and thoughts as my wife traveled the globe as a flight attendant. 49:44 Tyler Edwards - Since You Came Around This song is about the excitement and fear that accompanies the surrender to love. Even the most certain feelings can have some hesitations. But ultimately, this is a love song. 52:40 Bree Rusev - Finish Line This song reflects on the uncertainty of the future, recognising that life doesn't always follow a straightforward path and that not everything in life will become resolved. 56:58 Emory Duncan - Feels Like Fire Feels Like Fire captures the feeling of being at sea, of being carried on the ocean's breath, rising and falling with each inhale and exhale, knowing this as the only constant, and finding peace amidst the storm. 1:01:16 Caleb Hearn - Warm Body This was the last song we decided to put on the project. We needed some energy and this song makes me want to roll the windows down and drive. It just feels so warm but also holds such a meaningful concept. Being afraid of love is so real, and it’s scary, I’ve been there. I just wanted to be able to touch on that subject in a lighter manner (and I really wanted a song with a guitar solo), Caleb shares. 1:04:25 Hazlett - Shiver I think to some extent whatever path we take life has a funny way of taking us to our destination anyway. But that only happens when we’re led by our gut, we have good intentions and we’re not scared to make the wrong choice. Sometimes it is just about choosing a door to open and being irrationally confident that the universe will guide you to where you need to go either way. 1:07:55 Davis John Patton - y'know? This song is about, most simply, waking up early and driving through my local coffee shop as the sun rises. It's a reflection on those incredibly basic moments that for some reason feel serene and literally glorious. 1:10:17 The Patch, Will McCartt - Lap after Lap This song explores the monotony of daily life and the small moments that break the routine. 1:13:13 rakey - Breakfast At Tiffany's ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ is inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s performance portraying the paradox of escaping the past while learning to accept love in the present. It features ethereal melodies, vintage synthesizer cameos, and a romantic strings section. 1:17:21 Days of August - Van Gogh (Alternative Version) This song is about seeing the beauty in life. A viby song inspired by Norwegian nature and the good in life. Perfect to listen to while sitting in a beautiful sunset, on a long drive or around a bonfire. 1:20:39 LORD & LAND - Always You This song is about loving someone even in the midst of heartbreak. This dreamy-folk song boasts ethereal vocals that sweeps the listener away into it's warm, organic soundscape. 1:23:16 Chris Lanzon - Technicolo(u)r This song is an exploration of infatuation. It’s about noticing the smallest details when you’re falling in love-the desire to know everything about someone and to see the world through their eyes. 1:26:49 flavia - Snow This song was the song that motivated me to leave my home in Berlin. The experiences that I had in Berlin over the years started freezing me up and just making me unhappy and cold and I felt I had to leave and make a change. 1:30:31 Ollie Dixon - Byegone Written from a time when I was feeling stuck and wanting mor out of life I was trying to let something go, for the better but ended up being held back all the time, like an anchor weighing me down. 1:34:50 Matthew Adam Green - stick with me, honey Written after a brief health scare in autumn of 2023, ‘stick with me, honey’ is told from the perspective of someone worried about a loved one in crisis. It’s a gentle reminder to not take that love for granted. 1:38:27 Ella Stallion - Winter Bones This song is about finding a way, a peace, a path, through the every day changes of life 1:43:08 SHEFFIELD - When You Know, You Know This song is about the profound and overwhelming feeling of love. It's like getting lost in a daydream while staring out of the backseat car window. 1:49:41 Vian Izak - to be happy This song is about finding happiness. The world offers many false promises on how to get it. I've found that happiness comes from facing challenges and overcoming them with loved ones. My hope is that this song helps you in this way. 1:51:55 Andrew Word - Do You Remember Me This song is about years of regret and ultimately finding peace and resolution. 1:56:31 Lapwing - Luing ‘Luing’ is the latest single from our upcoming album, ‘Thin Places’. It tells a childhood story of hope, wonder, and stone-skimming; of loneliness and despair transfigured by beauty and kindness. 1:59:52 St. Anthony Mann - Aimee, I This song is about the eclipsing of one phase into another. When there's a tough decision to be made, we'll make up stories about it. I've loved your channel since I came across it a few years ago. It is my default music channel both at home and when I'm driving. Hope the new channel does well.
Ah that's so great to hear, thank you! And yeah, I hope so too! Expect releases on both channels! It's a work in progress and I gotta find what approach is working best. The downside of this new channel; hardly anyone notices it when a video gets published because there aren't many followers yet. The downside of the main channel; some people still get notified when a video gets published, but the RUclips error is not suggesting the videos (the tab 'from indie folk central' is missing, the tags 'indie folk' don't show the IFC videos, etc). So yeah..
Being technologically challenged, my question is this ~ You have a new channel, but I can find it on RUclips? This album is excellent and I’m really enjoying it ~ thank you!
