I always find myself watching speeches by Alison when I need inspiration. She's definitely someone to look up to.

I love these books. My mom used to borrow them from the library in the 80's when I was a kid. Many people here in sweden love them, and you can walk into most libraries and borrow them.
She´s been mentioned many times in swedish magazines. What a talent and shuch a sharp mind alison possesses.

I can't help but think that while the archive of this video will be relevant (of course) to Bechdel, the introduction is also kind of amazing as an artifact of cultural studies in modern academy. Full Frontal Feminism? You can't make that up. Does anyone else find it fascinating the that two women introducing the event use the exact same shade of blond dye? The whole introduction belongs in a Bechdel strip.

I wander if that`s the lecture she mentions in Are You My Mother?

Thank you. English is not my first language so I always mix "wander" and "wonder" up.

When someone wonders, her/his mind may wander. Wander means walk - but figuratively wander can mean wonder so you were not totally incorrect. In fact I think you were being incidentally poetic.... or maybe accidentally.... :)

English, from where all Life begins.
Full-frontal feminism is an interesting visual concept.
