  • Soap Bubble Photography, with a bit of imagination, can take you on a journey through Alien frontiers. The surface of the detergent bubbles looking like planets enveloped in swirling gasses of clouds, but you need to know how to shoot them to get the best results.
In this latest installment of my Pandemic Pixels playlist I introduce you to the fun of shooting both single soap bubbles and the chaos of bubble mounds. Check out the patterns and shapes, not to mention the riot of colors, in this fun and simple idea for creative imaging in the comfort of your own home.

This is why I love macro photography, no end of the ways to apply it. I've used water drops but I never added glycerin, can't wait to try it.

Sir, in another Universe, your capture of "the planet" at 14:11 could easily pass for the shadows of the four gorgeous moons of Jupiter, transiting across its glory.
I'd just like to imagine that, happily. Thank you for your kind efforts to enhance the awesomeness of our Universe. Best regards from London. 🙃🌈🌌

I find it interesting that after all this time on lock-down, you produce a video on “how-to” shoot smoke, a few days later, B&H produces a video “how-to” shoot smoke, ummmmm. Your shooting techniques betray you... these are film techniques. It is why I subscribe to your channel, you still shoot like film, on digital media. You pre-plan your shots, get it right in camera, using post-processing as needed. Thank you for sharing your photographic skills. You deserve more subs.

I wonder what these would look like if you combined it with smoke/vapor (as in, when blowing bubbles you blow out vape not plain air). Would it obscure the colors too much or add to the effect and make it more ethereal? hmm. Love the video btw!
