I have the eknives exclusive and the 95t both with the mrbs you can notice only very slight differences in action but over a 300 dollar price difference definitely makes the ursus worth it imo
After 25 years of spending stupid amounts of money on knives, that’s definitely my favourite class of folder (CRK, Strider etc), plain, high quality, things that are a pleasure to use. Too bad the U.K. went crazy with the knife laws around the time more left handed or ambidextrous knives started appearing.
I had an e knives exclusive and the funny thing about those is you have to have your finger in exactly the right spot all the time to deploy that whereas other frame lock knives are not so finicky
Kinda have to agree. Out of ten production Shiros and two-dozen CRKs, I find myself carrying Elmax F3s the most. Not afraid to use them for whatever is needed.
It's a nice knife but my rosie xl fits this roll for me perfectly. If they ever do a version with a hole deployment I'd buy one immediately. I know they have some hole deployment models but the 111 is huge and the custom ones are crazy $, would like to see the budget versions with that option.
No blade “needs” one, but regardless, it does have a rather prominent sharpening choil. I even pointed it out as a benefit in the video. Also, a plunge is not the same as a sharpening choil. Those are two completely different things.
@AtoZEDCreviews I do not agree with you and I also understand your point of view. Yes plunge/sharpening choil are different but also very liked, for me the perfect plunge/sharpening choil combo are on CRK. You can tell Chris Reeve designed his knives for people who actually use his knives.
The song in the beginning. Lol. As good as the flashlight song.
What a nice knife and a blank canvas for many different things

@@GadgetNerdvana oh man, an F3 in Elmax makes me feel all warm and nostalgic.

I like those, mostly, but I prefer the more drop point blade shapes.
Not for me, no sharpening choil/plunge line... Maybe if they make a mini production quantum with a good plunge/choil...

It’s me, Jim. Just still logged in under one of my other channels. As mentioned, there definitely is a sharpening notch on this blade.
I prefer the look of these plain ti ones. Definitely want to pick one up in the future.
